Meet Your New Librarian

Katherine Sleyko is the new Public Services Librarian. She earned her BA in English from the University of Illinois, and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Dominican University in 2012. Before moving to Ada, she volunteered in the Chicago History Museums costume archives, where she was given the illustrious job of vacuuming moldy fur clothes. As a recent Chicago transplant, Katherine is enjoying Adas warmth. Her years living in the cold affected her hobbies, which is why you can find her engaged in knitting, sweater recycling, or other yarn artistry when shes away from her librarian duties. Shes very eager to continue the librarys tradition of excellent public service, and cant wait to meet the ECU community. Feel free introduce yourself or contact her with any questions.
