Administration: Document Security and Data Integrity (BMPAT/P 07A) BMPAT shall at all times ensure the prevention of unauthorized access to administrative systems and documents by unauthorized personnel. BMPAT shall continually strive to promote and improve Document Security and Data Integrity of learner and business information. The systems in place shall include effective Information Technology Section a) Secure Peripheral Access by Security Alarm and ADT armed response b) Secure access to office containing administrative documents-bearing the sign Authorized Personnel Only sign. c) A right of admission reserved sign to empower the BMPAT or any person acting on their behalf to evict any person whose behavior can compromise the data safety of the institutional records. d) All computers will be firewalled to prevent hackers. e) All systems will be audited using appropriate software to investigate suspicious keylogger or hacker activity. f) Routers will be encrypted to prevent unauthorized network access. most frequently used by intruders. h) BMPAT will use effective Antivirus Software for all our Computer systems containing Learner information, Learning Material and i) Antivirus Software will be constantly updated. g) Passwords policies will prevent use of birthdays, names of children and pets as these are the tools

Back up Section j) Data will be backed up on a continual basis in an acceptable format i.e. portable document format (PDF) and backed up on a CD or DVD disk which shall be labeled Confidential either by indelible disk marker or official sticker. k) Confidential documents shall be stored under lock and key of standard quality and strength.

Physical Damage Section l) The computer systems will be connected using fire and temperature resistant cabling to prevent overheating and fires. m) BMPAT shall use standard equipment to prevent any electrical fires n) Administration area shall be a no smoking zone o) There shall be no chemicals stored or kept in the administrative area including personal nail polish remover. Fire Equipment p) SFRT shall have a fire extinguisher for class A ,Class B ,Class B or Combination type fires in palce and in the future will install a fire/smoke detector for after hours detection The policy shall be communicated to all internal and external staff including auditors and cleaners and shall be communicated during the induction visit prior to the commencement of any work with BMPAT.
