All of the following gas producer :fuel control assemblies. DDA Part No. 6889821 6887770 CECO Part No. 104OOOAlO 104OOOA9

REASON:

To increase the life of the throttle shaft assembly seals, thereby eliminating fuel leakage around the throttle shaft assembly. The width of the throttle shaft assembly O-ring grooves is increased to accommodate new O-ring seals with the additional Teflon back-up rings. Following rework, the fuel control assembly is reidentified. Modification is recommended at first repair or overhaul (whichever occurs first) following parts availability. FAA-DER Approved.

CECO GAS PRODUCER FUEL CONTROL, SHAFT ASSEMBLY-REWORK ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

At first repair or overhaul following parts availability, rework P/N 100621 Fuel Control Throttle Shafts to accommodate two new P/N 101302-012 Packings with MS 28774-012 Back-up Rings. I.. Disassemble Fuel Control and Rework Throttle A. B. Shaft Assembly.

Disassemble fuel control and inspect parts in accordance with 250C20 Overhaul Manual (Appendix Al). Rework serviceable 1.

P/N 100621 Throttle

Shaft Assembly as follows:

Increase O-ring groove width by machining in accordance with Figure 1. Reidentify throttle shaft assembly as P/N 101305 by tagging or marking part container. replace

If P/N 100621 Throttle Shaft Assembly cannot be reworked, with P/N 101305 Throttle Shaft Assembly.

Reassemble Fuel Control. A. Reassemble fuel control in accordance with 250~C20 Overhaul Manual (Appendix Al) except install two new P/N 101302-012 Packings and two new MS 28774-012 Back-up Rings on P/N 101305 Throttle Shaft as shown on Figure 2. Reidentify the fuel control using l/8-inch as follows: Old DDA P/N 6889821 6887770 C. Old CECO P/N 104000AlO 104000A9 number and letter punches New CECO P/N 104000All 104000All-A10
