Zashia iqbal in order to get some feedback on what I have done well and not so good for my front

cover and double spread page I conducted an questionnaire with 10 people below you can find all the data I received through the results.

Gender: male or female?

From this chart you can see that I asked an equal amount from both genders in order to get the best and fair results. I then went on to ask the age range of the people and this is what I got:

The majority people I asked were aged between 21-24, flowed by 16-20 and lastly 25-30, out of all the people I asked I did not find anyone over the age of 30.

Zashia iqbal I then asked another question which was on the ethnicity group they belong to

From the people I asked majority were Pakistani, flowed by white, black and Chinese I did not ask anyone who was neither from another background which I never stated nor Indian.

From this chart I can see majority at number 9 said that the pictures I had taken were at a good quality and 1 person saying that it was very good, from this question I got a very positive answer from all.

Zashia iqbal I then went on to ask the quality of the front cover and double spread page overall these are the answers I received.

From this I can see that everyone said that overall it was good.

I also asked the ability to read the text whether it was clear enough and this is what I got:

Everyone said that the text was readable which was a good thing as I didnt want it to be hard to read for some.

Zashia iqbal I then asked whether or not the article was good or interesting and this is what I got:

Majority for this question said that it was good with a couple saying that it wasnt and 1 person stating that it was very good.

I then asked about the colour scheme

Everyone said that the colour scheme was a good choice.

I then went on to ask whether or not the colour scheme was visible throughout both the article and front cover and everyone said that it was. For the question on how close it resembles to a mix mag, magazine once again everyone answered with the same thing saying that it was a bit resembling the actual style of the magazine due to the layout.

The final questions which I asked was what was good and what not so good about my front cover and double spread page what I got from the majority was that the way I laid out my cover lines, main image and title was good but the thing letting it down was the cover lines as they consisted of different style of font and were confusing for the audience as mixmag tend to have 1-2 font only on their front cover.

From this questionnaire I now know what some people think of my work, overall I think I had some positive feedback about the article resembling a bit of a mixmag style double spread page, and the fact that the text although it wasnt the same sort of font style throughout it was still readable for the audience, I also found out that the article was good enough.

Zashia iqbal If I was to do this task again I would decide first on what I want portray through the use of my main image, so when producing the magazine I know exactly what is meant to be the purpose of it, I also need to think carefully of the style of font used on mixmag magazines and try to do something similar so that it looks like a mixmag. For my double spread page I would take better images for the tiny images which would be present within the article where you can see exactly what the artist is doing. And look at grammar thoroughly in order to avoid making errors.

Why I did this? These results are from the questionnaire task I conducted, I used the primary research data to create graphs and chart to give me a clear indication of certain percentages of what people thought on different aspects of the magazine, this then helped me decide on what I thought I could improve on if I was to create the magazine again.
