University of Glamorgan was the first university that I came across while searching the internet on Finance and Business management and I was really impressed with the course content and the lab facilities that the university offers and the internship opportunities University of Glamorgan offer. The reason for selecting this field of study is because that the Finance and Business Management industry has changed rapidly over a very short period of time and it is an industry that is going to change our lives for the future for the next generations to come and I am sure that it could make quite an impact on my career.

Please mention your work experience here During the past two months I have been working as Associate Software Engineer at a Sri Lankan Company named Epic Lanka Group where I obtained my internship as well. I have been working on writing technical proposals, documenting design documents and I have been involved in developing a 2D barcode access control system during my internship and QA testing certain applications. This short stint has given me invaluable practical experience. It has given me the confidence to pursue a masters degree. I have also taken part in one of the computer security workshops during my internship year at Epic Lanka. In addition to that, I was the team leader in achieving ISO 27001 information security certification for the company and also I was a part of the awareness team for CMMi level III at Epic Lanka.

Please mention your CIMA qualifications and your institute name I completed my undergraduate studies at a leading institute in Sri Lanka affiliated to the University of Westminster. Since I have completed a British Degree through a local affiliation, I always dreamt of getting an opportunity to be a part of that intellectually stimulating environment. I am sure my talents will be put to optimal use. Sri Lanka is a developing country with an enormous potential in the Finance and Business Management industry especially in the Supply Chain Management, Apparel industries and the Banking Sector. To serve the needs of this developing industry and more importantly its requirement for personnel certified in the industry, is going to become of utmost importance. Thus conditions here are very conducive to supplement my aspirations when I return after completing my undergraduate studies.
