Create a list. Compile all of your networking contacts from academic, internship, volunteer and
social connectons.

Connect with professionals and learn more about a partcular path or organizaton through

Create/update your LinkedIn profle. Join the Career Centers Virtual Career Networking Lounge.
Connect to everyone youve met through your internship, summer job, and/or volunteer experiences.

Atend Career Center, student organizaton, and professional industry networking events.



Ask around! Reach out to contacts and fnd opportunites through informatonal interviews
with DePaul alumni, employers, on-campus interviewing and networking leads.

Begin your job search three to six months before you graduate! Atend job fairs, apply to positons
through careercenter.depaul.edu, and send inquiry cover leters and resumes to companies of interest.
