The meeting started immediately with the discussion of the agenda.

Updates on the fund-raising activities:

Ms. Cachuela asked Ms. Jungaya, the treasurer, with regards to the cash on hand of
NSRC. Presently, an amount of PhP 2,060.40 was left. It was suggested by the
president to have a budget of PhP 250-300 for the snacks of the kids next Sunday. It
was also suggested that the fare for the next Sunday’s activity will be already from the
participants and board members, not from the NSRC fund. The suggestions were
unanimously agreed.

The members were reminded to contact Roy Abrio for the key chains.

Legalization of the brownies for sale proposal was still on the process.

Evaluation of SOS Adopt a House Project:

Ms. Cachuela reminded everyone that they must be careful with their words especially
with their jokes. Other than that, nothing else was pointed out by the president and by
the members.

Ms. Tumanda and Ms. Fuertes, the spearheads of SOS Adopt a House Project, were
tasked to post an announcement on Monday, May 19, 2008 and conduct an orientation
on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

Planning of the two major activities:

A meeting was set on Monday, May 19, 2008, at 9 a.m. to plan for the two major
activities: fun run and balik-aral.

The spearheads of the said project were given the task to ask Maam Yoli regarding the
present census of the schools, the beneficiaries of the balik-aral project.
The body was also reminded to start planning for fun run. The presiding officer stressed
out the importance of legalizing our ways of soliciting money for the said project. It was
also emphasized that Mr. Ben Masungcad Jr. and Mrs. Sagaral should be aware of such.

Roy Felix Abrio and Ma. Rochelle Tongcua, were assigned to reserve a room for a
meeting with the NSTP students. The agendum would be the NSTP projects that they
would like to actualize.

The DACS committee was also given a task to start discussing with Mr. Dorola with
regards to the DACS activities/projects.

Jizelle Pae Bonguyan was tasked to consult Maam Yoli with regards to CES activities.

Ms. Bonguyan opened to the body the possibility of partaking in Mabel at Your Service
program, Ms. Cachuela also opened up the possibility of having a medical mission in
Our Lady of Victory and Care for the Elderly.

Other Matters:
Ms. Cachuela opened up the idea of having a tarpaulin for NSRC. This however, she
added, would be possible if we already have sufficient funds.

Complying with the tasks assigned was also opened up. It was agreed by the body that
those assigned to collect the plastic bottles, cans, etc should really do their task.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
