Discuss what happens at the beginning, middle, and end of a story. Who are the characters? What is the setting? Is there a problem? Think of words that end in in and op. How many words can you make? Can you find these words in a book?

continue adding up to the sum of 10 review of all numbers 0-20 in standard form and numbers 0-10 in word form introducing numbers 14, 16, 17, 18 and 19 in word form What You Can Do to Help Your Child Find the sum by counting up from the larger number. Review numbers 0-10 in word form (ex. zero, one, two, three, four, five, etc.) and match them to numbers in standard form (ex. 0=zero, 1=one, 2=two, 3=three, etc). Practice reading numbers words fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen. Notice that these numbers are the same as the smaller numbers with teen added. Practice writing number sentences for pictures and pictures for number sentences. Read the sentences aloud to identify vocabulary.

Library books are due on Thursday, Day 2, March 21st. If you signed up for your child to receive vaccinations, they will be on Tuesday, March 25th. An email from the school will be sent home on the 24th regarding this event. Unhealthy food is creeping back into our lunches. Please remember that chocolate and chips are not permitted in KG2 and will be sent back home. If you returned your book last week, a new take home book was sent home today. Please return it on Thursday!

How can pollution affect the ocean? What are ways that we conserve the ocean?
