HOW CAN WE STAY SPIRITUALLY AWAKE?

As the most important event of all time Har Magedon,

approaches; Mankind in general is spiritually asleep.

But how can we be different, HOW CAN WE KEEP

SPIRITUALLY AWAKE?
Apostle Paul what did he say of beiing Spiritually asleep?
1TH5:6 (again)

In spking of us-refering to genuine christians, religious

active/ responsive to Jah direction & purposes, they have a
relationship with him.
Even geunine christians must be careful to avoid being
caught sleeping.

If we are Spiritually drowsy, no doubt it could lead to bad

results.
Let's think about the last nite of Jesus life with his
disciples-they fell asleep dispite urgings to stay awake.

Although sleeping is physical in nature, sleeping could

indicated a tendency toward spiritual drowsiness. MARK
14:37-41.

After reading this, would u say this

was a bad time for sleeping; Truthfulness of God's word
involved, The faithfulness of his son Jesus Christ the
Massiah, Destiny of the Human Race.

So how appropiate was this warning? Because of not being

Alert his disciples abandoned him & fled/ Peter went so far
as to disown 3x's.
So Spiritual drowsiness is a danger.
What about us? the fast moving pace in which we live makes
it easy no to be attunded or awaken to the meaning of world
events. We need to stay Awake!
Some of u have been in Jah's organization for many yrs-U
need to don't become complacent-this is a time of Urgency!

We need to face the fact that we can't aford to sleep as the

world in gerneral does.

WHY IS IT THAT SOME DO NOT KEEP SPIRITUALLY

AWAKE? What reasons do some have?
Humans in general are preoccupied with things of life & the
world around them.

Many are side tract by the regular daily routines of life;

paying mortgage, worried about their Jobs & raising children.

Much like Noah's Day, people today take no note.

Being very busy with everyday living & along with some
selfish pursuits,
People refuse to recognize that present conditions differ
greatly from those of the past & fit exactly what Jesus said
would mark the time of the end.MATT 24:37-39

Though Jah provides an abundance of spiritual food,

most people today fail to take seriously & apply the counsel
that's given repeatly.
Many allow themselves to become spiritually blind & deaf
though, claiming to be God's people.
Much like the Israelites-Notice what's said about them! They
new Jah purposes & knew what Jah required of them, like
us. READ ISA 42: 18-20.

Some are caught sleeping because the world seems to

carry on as normal; (TV) Economic crisis one moment-then
everyone focuses on it, some even panic/-
Economic upturn; then people attention move on.

The same is true of international tensions-everyone focus on

it & the tensions lessens.
Everyone moves on, many see these things as no more
than just as trends.2PTER 3:4.

[Nvr wnt fall into this trap]

Another reason some do not keep Spiritually awake is

because:
They try to make full use of the world. Why is this not wise?
We all want to enjoy life, & Jah wants us to. 1CORN 7:31.

And some allow their ears to listen to false teachings & fail to
recognize & heed the voice of Jah's direction.

We've just talked about why some do not Stay Spiritually

Awake.
As Jah's Day draws near how can we keep Spiritually
Awake?
One thing is to recognize the need to stay Spiritually Awake.
Let's not forget the value of prayer, it will help us keep our
senses 1PET 5:8.
