Monday Walks in Ispra

If you live in Ispra or happen to be around Ispra on Mondays why not get some exercise and enjoy the beauty of the lake! Join the new Ispra walking group? What kind of walking? A brisk and refreshing walk of approx. 5km taking in the wonderful lakeshore scenery. Usually the walk should take about 1hr, but , we can tune the walk depending on the weather and the group's inspiration...make it longer or more challenging... and...last, but not least..for those who have time...a stop for a drink at the end. What should I wear? One section of the lake walk covers rocky terrain so you will need the appropriate shoes. Proper walking shoes would be ideal, but trainers or gym shoes should also be fine. The lake area in Ispra is known locally as The Riviera due to its sheltered climate, so, if the sun is shining, you will find it quite warm even in the winter. When and Where? The group plans to walk EVERY Monday and to meet at the park bench in front of the Mausoleo, Via Milano, Ispra. The Mausoleo is right opposite the cemetery and there is a car park there too.
