The Nazi Party Research

Germanys army was set free, never to surrender or admit defeat leaving Germany open to possibilities. Hitler knew this was coming, his time would be soon. Germany now republic government had a new constitution, making Germany the most liberal democracy in history. Political turmoil hit June, 28th 1919 the transformation of The Treaty of Versailles. Humiliating Germany, blaming them for the war, stealing land, starting the war. In order to show Justice Germans were limited to only 1000,000 soldiers in the military Machinerys. Hitler top member spy of the German army. Hitler was great at the job. Hitler started chaos against November criminals, and Jews. The German Workers' Party consisted of seven members, including Hitler. To bring in new members Hitler prepared invitations which each committee member gave to friends asking them to attend the party's monthly public meetings, but few came. Hitler was scheduled to be second speaker at the meetings Hitler got up to speak, he astounded everyone with a highly emotional, at times near hysterical manner of speech making,: "I spoke for thirty minutes, and what before I had simply felt within me, without in any way knowing it,

was now proved by reality: I could speak! After thirty minutes the people in the small room were electrified and the enthusiasm was first expressed by the fact that my appeal to the self-sacrifice of those present led to the donation of three hundred marks (Nazi Party is Formed 1-2). (The History Place, 1996). Hitler took charge of party propaganda in early 1920, and also recruited young men he had known in the Army. He was aided in his recruiting efforts by Army Captain Ernst Rohm, a new party member, who would play a vital role in Hitler's eventual rise to power.

The Beer Hall Putsch of November 1923, or the Munich Putsch, was Hitlers attempt to overthrow the Weimar government. Hitler along with hundreds of dressed soldiers standing tall ready for fight, went to the Beer Hall ready to over throw the government. Finally Hitler stood up to speak, though nobody was paying attention Hitler was bound and determined. Hitler with his hand took the gun, raised it shooting into the air for salience. Threating to kill everyone, including himself, if not heard. Once the beer hall meeting was over, Hitler started to plan his take-over of Munich. On November 9th, Hitler started his march with his followers. Hitler started the march to the center of Munich with 3000 men. At the center of the city they were

faced by 100 armed police and soldiers who blocked them from going down a narrow street

called the Residenzstrasse. (Chris Trueman, 2000) Hitlers Book Mein Kampf was never written by Hitler, instead Rudolf Hess Wrote down the words co Hitler in 1923-24. Reading Mein Kampf would be getting inside view of Hitlers mind, vivid pictures of things to come. The way things should be, that one race was superior and should rise. Hitler divides humans into categories based on physical appearance, establishing higher and lower orders, or types of humans. Hitler refers to this type of person as an Aryan. The Jews, Hitler says, who are engaged in a conspiracy to keep this master race from assuming its rightful position as rulers of the world, by tainting its racial and cultural purity and even inventing forms of government in which the Aryan comes to believe in equality and fails to recognize his racial superiority. Hitler states "The mightiest counterpart to the Aryan is represented by the Jew (Hitler Mein Kampf). Throughout Mein Kampf, Hitler refers to Jews as parasites, liars, dirty, crafty, sly, wily, clever, without any true culture, a sponger, a middleman, a maggot, eternal blood suckers, repulsive, unscrupulous, monsters. Mein Kampf also provides an explanation for the military conquests later attempted by Hitler and the Germans. Hitler states Germany must first defeat its old enemy France, to avenge the German defeat of World War One

and to secure the western border. All this eventually came true shortly after Hitler was released.

(The History Place, 1996) The great depression Tuesday, October 29th, 1929 financial worldwide markets failed. German y left open to vulnerability, Productions fell, workers laid off. Overnight, German families ruined beyond their control. Hitler knew his opportunity has finally arrived. Hitler had begun his career in politics as a street brawling revolutionary appealing to disgruntled World War I veterans. By mid-1930, amid the economic pressures of the Great Depression, the German democratic government was beginning to unravel. The elections were set for September 14th. Hitler and the Nazis sprang into action. The lower the people of Germany got the better chances Hitler gained. The people were down at the bottom that anyone promising a better tomorrow had a chance to swing into government. Hitler started a career in politics appealing to world war one veterans. The German people were tired of the political haggling in Berlin. They were tired of misery, tired of suffering, tired of weakness. These were desperate times and they were willing to listen to anyone, even Hitler. According to many to witness, Hitler began raining more soldiers in, promises of jobs, better government. (The History Place, 1996) Joseph Goebbels organized all meetings, parades, posters and printed millions of special edition Nazi newspapers. Hitler traveled the country

delivering dozens of major speeches, attending meetings, shaking hands, signing autographs. On Election Day September 14, 1930, the Nazis received 6,371,000 votes over eighteen percent of the total and were thus entitled to 107 seats in the German Reichstag. It was a stunning victory for Hitler.. On October 13, 1930, dressed in their brown shirts, the elected Nazi deputies marched in unison into the Reichstag and took their seats. When the roll-call was taken, each one shouted, "Present! Heil Hitler! Nazi storm troopers celebrated victory by smashing windows of Jewish shops, department stores, indication of things to come. (the history place, 1996).

There were now over 4000,000 troopers under leadership of SA Chief Ernst Rohm, which considered them true revolutionaries. In April 1932, Heinrich Chancellor of Germany invoked article 48 of the constitution. Hitler agreed, a step ahead of all, Hitler knew the republic was on last leg, and opportunity would soon come. In the form of a man Kurt Von Schleicher opportunity came knocking. Schleicher was acquainted with Hitler and had been the one who arraigned for Hitler to meet Hindenburg, a meeting that went poorly for Hitler. A secret meeting was held on May 8, 1932. The ban of SA and SS was lifted, Hitler dumped Chancellor Bruening. The economy was still spiraling down, six million out of work; Hitler with the aid of Schleicher took down their competitors. Hitler was the main picture everyone saw, plans were falling into place. Shortly after taking down the reign of government needed, chaos, murder,

violence broke out in the streets. The Nazis marching down in uniform singing songs, chanting, Blood must flow, blood must flow! Blood must flow, as cudgel thick as hail! Lets smash it up, lets smash it up! That goddamned Jewish republic! (The history place 2). The months passed, Hitlers followers grew more 100.000s every meeting. A new chapter in Germany took place January 30,1933 Hitler was president. (the history place, 1996).

Ghettos were made up in the 1939. Hitler incorporated the western part of Poland into Germany. Two million Jews therein were to be concentrated in ghettos in Poland's larger cities. The Ghettos were no bigger than three city blocks. Families, friends, strangers forced to live together in small quarters. No belonging s allowed no food either. Jews caught sneaking in any food, or other objects were killed. They took many Jews from wide areas were rounded up and forced to live in unbearable conditions in cramped ghettos. The most famous was the Warsaw Ghetto, there was no sanitation, was intolerable. The population of Jews was over 450,000 and growing daily. At least 75,000 died of diseases and starvation alone. Eventually transportation of Auschwitz and other concentration camps would come. Once transportation was set Nazis shipped Jews by the thousands, some murdered right away stepping of the train, others sent inside thinking Jews were getting a shower. (Rabbi Eliyahu Ellis, 2012) Jewish were only allowed to have very few personal affects with them. There was no

valuables aloud those were raided and took by the Germans.

A film unfinished real life of the Jewish community. The untold version of what truly happened. The Jews were forced to fake real life, on camera showing how extravagant their lives were. The bodies of the dead, lying there on the streets were nothing to them. Pretending life on the inside was the same as everywhere else. The testimony, of the living survivors tells how the Germans acted towards the Jews. Germans would take hand full of Jews, which would dress up, clean themselves up and go about the day as if nothing was wrong. They would make them wait in line at the restaurants making it seem as if they had tons of money. Many would be sitting at tables eating fine food, drinking fine wine laughing, sharing jokes. The film was to show how the Jewish were happy and living a rich full life. The streets of the Ghetto, lined with children in rags, skin, and bones dying of starvation. Corpses laying there occasionally Germans would stop to pick them off the streets. They would have standbys help with the bodies. Which were taken to a shed stalk piled and burned. Though the Germans allowed these people to play in their movie, they did not allow them to live after they had played a role. Those whose face was shown in the film even by mistake would be murdered. The German that shot the film wanted the world to see the truth. Jews were to learn the ceremonies of wedding, bar mitzvah, circumcisions, to make it seem this was allowed in their communities. Even a Jewish funeral was held burying

their dead in a ceremony which was false Jews never bury their dead. In order for the Germans to stay in control of the war, they staged a fake world were everything was fine. Pretending Jews were rich and happy. Living full happy lives nothing out of the ordinary. Then killing them after they did what they were told. Forcing them to act as if dead bodies, were nothing, just a object in the way. (hersonski, 2010) Mason Anton (Meisner) born April 21st 1927 in Romanian. Masons childhood was normal played sports, went to school, had dreams and goals. Mason had an older brother yet no sisters, his father always tried to make birthdays special. The school age most male children would be thirteen at which point depending on the family life had choice to work for the family business. This was masons one privilege after turning thirteen sadly that day never did come for mason. Mason remembers having many special girlfriends; from recall none survived the concentration camps. In 1944 German forces took over Hungary, laws were enforced for the Jewish communities. Curfews were set in; Jews were forced to wear the yellow Star of David. The sighet Ghetto was developed shortly after the invasion occurred, were like Mason thousands of Jews were forced to move there. in May 1944, the ghetto was liquidated and everyone Was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Mason like many others kept hope, which the war would end. (The only hope the held inside was for the Germans to take over or for their allies to land and save them). The Ghettos held over twenty thousand Jewish people, with no touch of the outside world. They could not get food, supplies, medications forced to share what they had with strangers, friends, and families. After a few months Mason s mother and brother were sent to the gas chambers while mason and his father were forced into labor. In January 1945, they were forced on a death march to Gleiwitz, a camp in Germany. From there, they were put in cattle cars and transferred to Buchenwald. Antons father grew weak and died. Anton attended The City

College of New York and graduated in 1954. He married his first wife, Leslie Kowne, in 1954, and they had a daughter, Sarah, in 1958. At the time of his interview in 1998, Anton Was living in Manalapan, Florida, with his second wife, Betty, whom he Had married in 1974. (Mason, 1998) Malka Baran born January 30, 1929 in Warsaw, Poland. Baran like many others before any invasion grew up in middle class homes, Baran father owned a printing company. Growing up Baran did not have many Jewish friends, going to the centagon was important to the family. Baran recalls I can smell the women cooking in the bakerys, bread, sweet, cakes for all occasions all the wonderful smells before the invasion. This was the last wonderful picture embedded into Barans mind right before the invasion. In 1939 one clear day it hit, bombs exploding, gun fires in the streets, people screaming and running. All in one day Warsaw, Poland was invade by the Germans. Laws were set in stone, roads were closed, Jewish schools, and all Jews had to wear armbands containing yellow stars. Curfews were set for Jewish people, anybody disobeying or breaking the law was killed on the spot. In 1941 the Ghetto was established were Baran and the family were forced to move and be work laborers. Two years living in cramped apartments, forced to work for free, living on barely anything, they evacuated the Ghetto. Jews were shipped to Treblinka concentration camps, were Barans mother went and shortly after arrival murdered. As for Baran and the rest of the family they were again shipped for forced labor in a smaller Ghetto. The spring of 1943 the Ghetto was liquidated; Baran was transported to Tschenstuchau labor camp working for Munitions factory. In January of 1945 the soviet army liberated Tschenstuchau labor camp, Baran and some friends remained in the abandoned apartments for some time. A Russian Jewish solider befriended Baran occasionally bringing food, until one day Baran went to the soldiers unit to work. After four months of work the war ended in May 1945. (Baran, 1997). These are all the timeline of world

war two. How a corrupt German, turned the people and government around to believe that one race was far from being worthy to live in a world that should have one powerful being. Destroying homes, lives, children killing them at random. Forcing the Jews to live in Ghettos no bigger than three city blocks, with no food, clothing or money. Videotaping Jews living the life of luxury. While watching many of their own kind die on the streets, and having to walk past them as if nothing was going on. Wiesel Elie Night Wiesel described the turmoil, Jewish communitys suffered. Madness, religion, survival, chance, luck, questions unanswered on why Wiesel survived. Hitler considered Germans higher beings of life, giving power to destroy a race, the Jewish race. Killing millions women, men, even children of all age either right of the train were people were shoved in like cattle. Others sent to camps, poisoned, experimented on. Wiesel lives every day in madness, for the fear of the past. Wiesel states In the beginning there was faithwhich is childish, trustwhich vain, and an illusionwhich is dangerous. We believed in God, trusted in man, and lived with an illusion (12). Wiesel survived due to strength, God did not save Jew, did not stop the suffering of others. Though as a writer Wiesel suffered hard times when trying to publish the book. It was turned down many of times. Once published was translated from French to English, no other place wanted to touch the book. Wiesel like many others questioned ones sanity, querying for ones life as another died, family, friends, children. Though in a position of life or death, what would one do to survive turmoil, like the Jewish have endured? Wiesel being a writer wrote of this bit of history in hopes that we may understand what happened, the past remains the same yet madness consumes the further. (Elie Wiesel, 1958)
