W HAT
This is a booklet covering mission opportunities for BSSM Alumni. Some of these organizations have direct Bethel affiliations, some do not but all come with student recommendations. This booklet is information only and is designed, o stimulate your investigation of safe and possible options in the mission field.
W HO
This information is focused towards first year alumni and second year alumni who are not pursuing third year BSSM mission internships. This is not to replace third year BSSM options but to extend opportunities to those who may be ready to enter the missions field.
W HY
The intention of this information is to help break down any barriers for students called to the mission field as they leave BSSM. With more knowledge about options available to them, we hope that they will be able to step into this calling with a greater confidence and assertion. It is the heart of this project that Alumni keep their hearts alive, remain connected and engaged with passion for God long term in the mission field. By bringing connections with established organizations in the nations, we hope that covering will be provided and a safe environment where the plans of God can take root.
As this is an information-only document we do encourage you to pursue any opportunities personally. All websites have been provided for you and you are able to approach these organizations individually.

Bolivia
Recommendations
Bolivian Youth Ministries serves those others have forgotten. While Bolivia has numerous orphanages and homes for abandoned boys, homes for girls were all but nonexistent before my aunt and uncle opened their first home in 2000. They create a wonderful, loving home for each girl, caring for them for as long as they need it, and model what a fulfilled life in Christ and in family can be. The ministry is now run by my cousin and his wife, who are some of the most giving and loving people you will ever meet. I volunteered there back in 2005, and it changed the way I see the world to see so much love in action. - Bekah Graham, BSSM Student

Youth With A Mission When YWAM began in 1960, our main focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, according to His command in Mark 16:15. Today, we still focus on youth, but we have members (known as YWAMers) of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grown into long- term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.
