Three Powerful Keys from Jobs Life Part 3

By Pastor Sean Pinder Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. (Job 10:12) Preserved
I remember flying from a conference in Los Angeles back to Florida. All of a sudden, the pilot announced that we had to turn around and go back to LA airport. Of course, this made everyone very nervous. There we were: 20,000 feet in the air. You would have been afraid, too! I began to pray and bind the devil because I knew something was wrong. In the next thirty minutes, we were touching down on LA airport. The pilot taxied back to the gate and parked. Next, they opened the cockpit doors and everyone stood to see what was wrong. To our amazement, the left front windshield was shattered. It was the top layer only, but it was shattered. A bird had flown into the glass and shattered it. God had preserved me from a terrible plane crash. The past two weeks, we looked at the first two keys from Job's life, which were "favor" and "visitation." Now, we will focus on the third key, which is "preserved." The devil is very nervous about you understanding this word. He is nervous because this will increase your courage and faith in God's love for you as your Father. You might be facing struggles that almost seem as if they will take you out, but I assure you they will not take you out. Let us get right to the point and look at what the word "preserved" means. The word "preserved" has several meanings, but we will focus on two of them for the sake of time. The first meaning is "hedge," which means "a fence formed by a row of closely planted shrubs or bushes." God has a fence around you that your enemy is well aware of, according to his confession in Job 1:10: "Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side..?" God has a fence of protection around your life and everything that concerns you. Satan can come so far and no further because God has you surrounded. My friend, you are hedged in by the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Job knew this truth and that is why he said, "...Thy visitation has preserved my spirit." Praise God for the hedge! Lift your hands and thank

God right now that your life is fenced in by the Lord Himself. This brings us to the second meaning for the word "preserved," which is "protected." I feel the anointing of the Holy Ghost on me as I type. Praise God. The word "protect" means "to shield from danger, injury, destruction, or damage." That is why the car wreck did not take you out. You know of others who have died, but God kept you alive. God has preserved you for a divine purpose. Job lived with the awareness that it was God protecting his life. There were other great men in the Bible whose lives were protected by God. David faced Goliath and defeated him. King Saul tried his best with an entire army to kill David, but he could not because God was protecting David. David faced the lion and the bear and defeated them both. My God, you ought to just give God a shout of praise because He is keeping you alive and protecting you! No wonder David said in Psalm 3:3, "But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me..." God was His protector and keeper. Remember when Daniel was thrown to the lions to be destroyed, yet he survived? Here is Daniel's testimony about the protecting power of God. The king arose early in the morning and ran to the den to check on Daniel. He shouted for Daniel to see if he was still alive. To his amazement, he heard Daniel's voice utter these words in Daniel 6:2122: "...O king, live forever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt." God also protected the three Hebrew men from the fiery furnace. You and I are serving the same God who protected all these mighty men. He is doing the same for us on a daily basis. God will do it for us throughout this entire year as His favor and visitation are being poured out on us. God is on your side. God is for you. He has called you; He has anointed you; He has chosen you. The Word says in Romans 8:31: "...If God be for us, who can be against us?" No matter what you are facing on the job, in the ministry, in your family, or in your finances, you need to know that you are being preserved no differently than Job. David understood this and declared in Psalm 121:8: "The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." My friend, God has stirred my heart to send this word to you to let you know that He is preserving you. The three keys from Job's life-favor, God's visitation, and preservation-have now been imparted into your life. You will pass the test. You will overcome and come out more than a conqueror in the name of Jesus. Expect good things to begin to happen in your life from this very day. May God Bless you and take you to another level this year. May

the favor of God be poured out on you and cause you to gain favor with people who can make a huge difference in your life for the glory of God in Jesus' name. God Bless, Pastor Sean Pinder
