Network Engineer Supplemental Questionnaire

Question 1 What is your level of understanding with networking concepts such as routing, NAT, DNS, DHPC, TCP/IP, and the OSI model? Little or no knowledge of networking concepts Familiar with most networking concepts, but no hands-on experience Have done some hands-on work that involved applying networking concepts Extensive experience configuring and troubleshooting networks using these concepts Please describe at least (3) instances where you have applied these network technologies and explain the purpose of each.

Question 2 What is your level of experience configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment (switches, routers, backup devices, security appliances and firewalls)? No first-hand knowledge of network equipment installation and configuration Have assisted others with network equipment installation and configuration Have installed and configured network equipment on a small network (less than 100 users) Have designed and/or managed medium to large networks (over 100 users) Please list applicable devices you have worked with. Include the manufacturer and model of each.

Question 3 What is your level of experience with wireless networking technology (adapters, access points, controllers)?
