And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. LORD cast out before the children of Israel. 6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints. How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life. All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic. But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge." Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, Israel with deceit. And Judah is unruly against God, even against the faithful Holy One. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
