News and Prayer Letter April 2013

He is Risen! We trust you had a great Easter season. Im sorry this is late getting to you, but we have an answer to prayerour house is sold and we have found a new house in Brookline! This was part of the reason that we didnt get an update out sooner as we were very busy finalizing the house situation. We are learning that God answers prayer in very specific ways, and this was certainly true for our house. Two weeks ago, we had a handful of houses that we thought might be possibilities for us. By the time we sold our house, there was only one that remained on the market. We were asking that God would make it obvious in our decision and we believe He did. Our new house has almost everything we were looking for, and it will be a great house for use in ministry. Not only is it big enough for our family, but it is right across the street from one of the two big parks in Brookline. The possibilities to connect with people are endless (pickup basketball, tennis, Little League baseball games, and our biggest weapon our girls!). We move on May 15th and now have a lot of packing to do. Needless to say, it is a HUGE answer to prayer and we are excited! Support Our support has increased to 9%. To some, 9% may not seem like a whole lot, but considering that we just started contacting churches last fall, we are thrilled that this much has come in already. We have 4 meetings this month, and continue to pray that God will bring in the support we need in His time. One thing we know is that our God will supply all our needs. Team members Pete discussed the possibility of working at home with his company, but they will not allow it. This means that he will need to secure a job here. Please pray for a job opportunity for him. Also, we found a possibility for housing for them as well. There is still a lot that would have to fall into place, but a situation has come up that may fit their time frame very well. Help needed We have had a number of people give to our ministry, for which we are so grateful! As many of you know, we are being sent by our home church. This means that we are accountable to them as any missionary would be. It also means that they are holding all funds that come in. It is quite a task to make sure everything is being accurately recorded and tracked as we dont want to be surprised with wrong figures in a couple of years. To help us in this, we are asking you to notify either our church, or us directly, if you started giving, or plan to give monthly.
