The Fifth Son rolls all five of his dice and gets 1,2,5,6,6. He sets aside the 5s and uses his unique ability to trade his card and all his dice (supply and collected) with the First Son. His turn is over, however, as he traded with the First Son, his turn is next. The new First Son will now work on collecting 1s by adding them to his already collected two 1s. Note: He could have chosen not to collect (set aside) the 5, however, as the value of Collected dice count against you, the new First Son is trying to catch the new Fifth Son with additional points.

A wise man named Wei Fu had five sons who he loved dearly. He loved each in his own way, but favored his oldest most of all. In fact, he showed affection and appreciation to each son in descending order of their birth. Over time, this greatly displeased his younger sons to the point of confrontation. Being respectful to their father, the younger two sons did not accuse their father directly, but merely asked the question: What more can I do to earn your respect? At first the father was outraged that his younger sons would question his fidelity, but then he realized their defiance presented an opportunity.

The Fourth Son then rolls the remaining two dice and gets 2,5. As he failed to get any 4s, his turn is over. Collected: Three 4s

His land had been plagued by prankster Dragon that ate his crops, scared away his workers and generally caused chaos throughout his land. He decided to put his younger sons to the test of ridding his land of this Dragon. The sons agreed, but pleaded: Should our older brothers be denied this opportunity to prove their devotion to you? Knowing full well his sons intent, Wei Fu agreed to send all five sons on the quest. However, his older sons, fearful for their safety, begged for a reprieve. Acquiescing, Wei Fu decided to ease the burden by declaring: The Dragon is the quest! However, I would still appreciate any son who brings me the finest examples of the Five Elements of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal, which provide the very foundation of our world. With this alternative quest, he would assign the easier tasks to his older sonsor so he thought.

Once a player has set aside all five dice of the target number or captured the Dragon (by collecting the dice 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), the remaining players add up the total of the dice they have collected along with the penalty number at the bottom of the card and track those points. Your goal is have the lowest point total each round and for the game. The Son cards are then passed to the left and the next round begins (5 Player Game). The winner is the player who has the least amount of points after 5 rounds. In the event of a tie, the last player to hold the First Son card wins the game. Weilong or Powerful Dragon is a simple dice game based loosely on the dice game One-O-Five and the Chinese card game Shou Ba Yi. Each player represents the role of one of Wei Fus sons on their quest to collect the Five Elements or capture the Dragon. Each player rolls their dice and sets aside those dice showing their target number (Element). The objective is to roll all five dice of the target number before any other player. Target numbers are determined by drawing cards (Son Cards). The Son Cards also have unique abilities for the players.

During his/her turn, a Player rolls the 5 dice (his Supply) and may set aside any dice as Collected. The Player may continue to roll any dice that are not Collected (on that turn) as long as he/she rolls at least one die with the same number as the Element on their Son Card. If he/she fails to roll the Element number, then his/her turn is over and the Player with the next lowest Son Card rolls his/her dice. What you need to play: 5 dice for each player (preferably in a different color for each player). 5 Son Cards Notepad to keep score Object of the game: To collect a set of 5 dice of the same number or in sequence (1,2,3,4,5) before any other player. Players: 2 to 5 How to play the game: Give each player a set of 5 dice. Shuffle the Son Cards and deal each player a card. The Player with the lowest numbered Son Card always goes first in the round.

The Third Son (Fire) For each two 6s rolled, he may collect one 3 (convert one of the 6s into a 3). The Second Son (Wood) If he rolls a 6, he may change any (his or any other players) Collected 2 (set aside) to any number other than 2. The First Son (Water) May roll all 6s again. Anytime, the First Son rolls a 6 he may re-roll that 6. If he then rolls a 1 (the Element Number), then he can set it aside and roll all remaining dice in his Supply. Also, if he rolls another 6 then he may re-roll that die. The Sons Unique Abilities: Once a player has Collected all five dice listed on his/her Son Card or captured a Dragon (1,2,3,4,5), the remaining players add up the total value of the dice they have Collected and track those points. You want to have a lowest point total each round. The Son Cards are then passed to the left and the next round begins. The winner is the player who has the least amount of points after 5 rounds.

The First Son (Player One) starts the game rolls all five of his dice of his Supply. He rolls 1,1,3,4,4 and sets aside the two 1s. He then rolls the remaining three dice and gets 1,4,5. The First Son sets aside the 1 and rolls the remaining two dice obtaining a 3 and a 6. The First Son failed to roll a 1 and normally his turn would be over, however, his unique ability allows him to re-roll all 6s. He rolls one die (for the one 6 rolled) and gets a 1. The First Son sets aside the 1 and rolls the remaining die (you always get to roll again if you roll the Element Number on your card). He rolls a 2 and his turn is now over. Collected: Four 1s Example of Game Play: The Fifth Son (Metal) If he rolls two 6s, he may trade his card and dice (Supply and Collected) with any other player. He now takes his turn in proper order as dictated by his new card and the other player takes the turn of the Fifth Son. The Fourth Son (Earth or Death) - For each 6 rolled, he may return any (his or any other players) one Collected die to that owners Supply.
