Precautions

CAUTION
l

If the IDU is configured with two PXC boards, the two PXC boards must use the input power with the same standard voltage. The SYS-PWR switch on the PXC board and the ODU-PWR switch on the IF board are equipped with the lockup device. To move the switch, you need to first pull out the switch lever a little. When the switch is set to "O", it indicates that the circuit is open. When the switch is set to "I", it indicates that the circuit is close.

Procedure
Step 1 Set the SYS-PWR switch on the PXC board to "O". Step 2 Set the ODU-PWR switch on the IF board to "O". Step 3 Turn on the power switch for the IDU. Step 4 Connect a multimeter to the power supply (for example, the output terminal of the cabinet power box) to test the voltage and polarization of the input power.
l

When the nominal voltage of the input power is 48 V, the test value of the voltage should be 38.4 V to 57.6 V. When the nominal voltage of the input power is 60 V, the test value of the voltage should be 48 V to 72 V.

WARNING
When the test value of the voltage is not within the range, first clear the fault of the power equipment. The abnormal voltage can cause damage to the equipment, even personal injury. Step 5 Set the SYS-PWR switch on the PXC board to "I". Step 6 Observe indicators of each board of the IDU. Board indicators should comply with the following statuses and sequences. 1. 2. 3. The PWR indicator on the PXC board that has accessed the power of the cabinet should be green. The PROG indicator on the SCC board should be green, off, flash green, and off. The process lasts about 1 minute. The STAT indicator on the SCC board should be green.
NOTE
