The third number 9 is dedicated for the 9 worthy properties of the Sangha. (The major goal of 969 is to preserve our race and religion for long. The constituent parts are not to decrease the number of our national races, not to decrease the number of homes of our national races, and not to decrease the territory of our national races.) (The Tasks of 969) / / / /

(We, 969 organizers, talk and organize the public with priority to the following causes: (1) To ask the Budhhists or National Races to marry the people of the same kind,

(2) To ask the Buddhists or National Races to rent or sell their houses to the people of the same kind, (3) To ask the Buddhists or National Races to buy any goods only at the shops or business owned by the Buddhists or National Races, and (4) To ask the Buddhists or National Races to rent or work as the maids only at the houses of the Buddhists or National Races.) 969 is not a killing ism and so does not favour that ism; it opposes and denounces the killing ism. 969 is not terrorism and so does not favour that ism; it opposes and denounces terrorism. 969 is not a bullying ism and so does not favour that ism; it opposes and denounces the bullying ism. 969 values and respects even the lives of small animals let alone the human lives. The people who embrace 969 are kind and sympathetic to their lives. Not killing others lives (which is called Panatiparta Karma in Pali) is one of the Five Precepts embraced in the teachings of 969. 969 does not favour bloodshed, bloodthirst, and bloodcrave; therefore, it only cleanses those with blood-stained hands and those bloodthirsty and bloodcraving people of their wild nature by using cool Metta (loving-kindness) water. 969 wants peaceful co-existence and so issues or declares necessary measures to be taken for the cause in the suitable time. 969 does not stimulate people for the political purpose and for the b reak-up of racial and religious riots. It neither holds the policy Those who are not of our kind are our enemies nor does any denouncements, impingements and hostility towards other religions apart from our Buddhism. 969 fully practices the religious f reedom and strongly denounces those violating the freedom. 969 fully favours womens suffrage and strongly opposes those imposing general restrictions on women. 969 does not have the long-term dream of making the whole world Buddhists in the forthcoming 24th Century; it always practices Buddhism according to the teachings by Kesamuti Sutta (Karlarma Sutta) and then always follows the really worthy sermons of the Buddha with due respect. 969 always wants peace and views colour discrimination, racial d iscrimination, and caste discrimination as inhumane. 969 wants the efficient legal measures to be taken, if some issue arises between Buddhists and people of other religious beliefs, so that the issue will not go from bad to worse up to the national level; it does not want acts of bullying and violence at all. 969 does not hold ego-centric policy whereas it just holds the policy of believing in non-self.

969 was coined by a famous writer named Hnitphethla Kyaw Lwin (Thar Htun Pyant, Director-General (Retd.)) who lived in Mayangone Township, Yangon Region. It was first used in his book entitled Hnitphehlas Hnitphethla around 1998 -1999. (User of 969) () 969 was first widely used by Ganavasaka Sangha Network of Mawlamyine, made stickers with background designs of Buddha Sasana Flag, Wheel of Dhamma, and Asoka Stone-inscription as symbols of Buddhism or Buddha Sasana. Meikhtila; nor have 969 stickers been dealt out to the people in Meikhtila. Therefore, 969 is representative of Triple Gems of Buddhism, viz. the Buddha, the Dhamma and the Sangha, and so is composed of such innocent attributes, which are tremendously adored and believed by the Buddhists throughout their lives, which are abundantly revered by the Buddhists, and which are ultimately priceless Noble Gems of Buddhism. Thus, I would like to humbly request the specific people not to insult Buddhism either by removing 969 signboards or by hindering and deterring the 969 followers wholesome actions!
