This year the Show will again be held in the two adjoining fields at Great Meadow. The charges for the STANDS are: 50ft (w) x 60ft (d) @ 100 Plot will be marked on map at entrance 25ft (w) x 30ft (d) @ 50 Plot will be marked on map at entrance 12ft (w) x 12ft (d) @ 40 Plot will be allocated on Friday/arrival Registered Charity 12ft x 12ft @ 10 Plot will be allocated on Friday/arrival You are welcome to attach banners (securely) to the crash barriers around the main ring. The Show runs for 2 days and stands may not be removed until Sunday night at the earliest. The show opens to the public at 10am on the Saturday and 11.00am on Sunday. Stands are let subject to your agreement with the following conditions: 1. You must not sublet your stand space. 2. The SDAS reserve the right to sell ALL FOOD AND DRINK on the Showfield. The serving of refreshments to clients by trade exhibitors will be limited to very light refreshments and no substantial demonstration foods will be offered. 3. You must agree to abide by SDAS rules and regulations, and be covered by Third Party Public & Products Liability Insurance a copy of which MUST be enclosed with the application form . Only the plot is provided, you will need to make provision for your own tent etc. if required. Also, BALLOONS are NOT permitted on the Showfield. The charge for an advertisement in the Show Catalogue is 50 (Full page 8 x 5). To give additional publicity value it could be useful to make discount vouchers, special show offers etc. part of your advertisement There will be general security in the form of a night watchman on the field on the nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Society can only be responsible for general security of the fields and stands and recommends that anything moveable be secured. Non Resident Traders must obtain a licence to trade in the Isle of Man; applications forms are available for download from the Isle of Man Government website: http://www.gov.im Please book early as space will be at a premium and priority booking will be given to those who had stands last year. Please note, unless you request otherwise, only those attending the Show will be on the following years mailing list. Please advise any change of contact details ASAP. Generator Hire. All generators must be the silent type. Noisy generators will not be permitted on the Showfield. Ace Hire has kindly agreed to offer a 'Southern Show' generator hire discount for the weekend of the Show. Please contact Nigel, Neil or Frank on (01624) 629372 for details.
