You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel Hebrews 12:23-24. The shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross was the essential condition for us to receive forgiveness for our sins and acceptance into the presence of God. In [Jesus] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Gods grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding Ephesians 1:7-8. coming Lamb of God - Jesus. ...For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed 1 Corinthians 5:7 (see also John 1:29).
...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus Romans 3:23-24.
...after the supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you Luke 22:20. The blood of Christ was the seal of a covenant God has made between you and him. That covenant is everlasting and is the basis by which you can now come close to God. (Jesus)...entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption...How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Heb.9:12-14 (read also 13:20-21).
