ANTHEM: Mansion Over the Hilltop PRAYER for ILLUMINATION OUR SCRIPTURE THIS WEEK:
Acts 2 excerpts (pg. 119-120)

*CALL TO WORSHIP: The first generation Christians did not hesitate to preach the Good News of Christs joyous resurrection! They knew what they had seen; and they knew God had sent them to tell others what he had done in Christ Jesus. God is still doing a mighty work through His Church. We, too, must witness to Gods redemption for our world. God, give us strength and wisdom to share our resurrection faith with our entire world! Let us continue to bring praise and glory to so great a God! *HYMN #299G That Easter Day with Joy Was Bright vss. 1- 2 *PRAYER of RESURRECTION FAITH ! Eternal God, who raised Your Son in glory, and who inspired Your Church to preach the Good News: we believe Jesus resurrection ought to be told to the ends of the earth! So use us as Your meessengers to proclaim the gospel truth; that people dying in sin, may yet be restored to glorious living. Loosen our tongues, and use our lives to inspire others to look to Christ Jesus for salvation, that our friends may not be lost to sin by our negligence. In Christs name, we pray. Amen. *HYMN #292G Because You Live, O Christ (vs 1- choir only) *AFFIRMATION of FAITH: Apostles Creed (back cover)

THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

4th Sunday of Easter 2013

The Mission of the Month for April is:

Meals on Wheels
Please keep this ministry in your prayers. Meals on Wheels is a ministry of Salem County that provides meals for those people in our community who would need a healthy, hot meal once or twice a day. The elderly, terminally ill or homebound are recipients of these blessings. We have had many people in our church over the years who were on delivery teams to take these meals into homes. It involves more than just dropping a meal off but often includes the building of personal relationships with the recipients. Finance Update: As of March 31, 2013 the benevolence totals are: 2013 Benevolence $ 5,408.00 Tithes $ 27,876.00 Per Capita $ 3,401.00 and tithes income 2012 $ 4,833.00 $23,814.11 $ 2,260.00
