Valeria Boissier is a Practitioner III of the TTouch method, created by Linda TellingtonJones, and a former student of Turid Rugaas. She will hold an Introduction course to the TTouch and Calming Signals inside Baia dei Gabbiani's Camping Village. The two-day course will be subdivided into two sections: - One day introduction to the TTouch - One day about Calming Signals, in other words the language of our 4-footed friends to improve our relationship with them. Through the TTouch method pets acquire a complete self-consciousness which might help for: - removal of trauma and fear - physical pain - excessive chewing or barking - jumping towards people - excessive shyness with other dogs or people - excessive excitement and irritation - aggressive behaviour - pulling the leash - car sickness - age problems Linda Tellington-Jones has been using for years her particular Feldenkrais touches on horses. Later on she started using it with great success also on dogs, cats and other animals. Those whove read her book know that only from reading, also if the book is very interesting and exhaustive, it is impossible to employ them in a correct way on your pets, as there are so many different touches, each one with a different pressure, in different places on the body. Every type of touch and pressure in a certain place has a different effect. Therefore it is important to learn them and to practice them together with a TTouch specialist that is one of the TTouch practitioners one will find all over in the world. The calming signals however, will teach us: - to learn the signals, that is the body language, our dogs use to communicate with us and with other dogs, people or animals; - to learn how to respond to their signals to build up a relationship of mutual knowledge to strengthen the bond of affection; - to get a basic knowledge of their vocabulary, which enables us also to correct or modify an undesired behaviour, that is often causing unpleasant incidents Turid Rugaas is one of the best animal language experts (in particular of dogs). She makes us understand how they express themselves, how they communicate with us and how we are able to understand their needs, understanding their expressiveness in order to have a deeper and more meaningful relationship with our dogs. Turid Rugaas is the author of several books regarding facial and oral expression. The course teacher Valeria Boissier will help us to understand this language. Unfortunately we often dont understand or interpret their body language in a wrong way and furthermore, we are sending very often, without recognizing it, the wrong signals to our dog or better to say signals he interprets in a completely different way. The course teacher Valeria Boisser was born and grown up in Switzerland together with dogs and horses. Valeria has been living in Italy since 1995; her mother tongue is French, but she

also speaks excellent Italian and English. Besides being a "TTouch Practitioner", she was student of Turid Rugaas, where she learnt the dog language, she became a professional Animal Communicator (Animal Telepathy) with Carol Gurney in Los Angeles and took furthermore courses with Gwen Baily. Course Price: EUR 135,00 for each 4-footed friend accompanied by a person. The Course is held upon achievement of minimum 7 inscriptions and favorable weather conditions, otherwise (for one or the another reason) it will be canceled.
