Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

Thinking of Jews as our long lost brothers and sisters will help us as we pray for them to believe that they will receive the coming of Messiah. Compassion for the Jewish peoples ongoing struggle increases our faith they will, indeed, receive the coming of Messiah.

Psalm 122:6, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

We have been made right with God by the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or spot. I Peter 1:18-19 Christ was sent for me to be the precious cornerstone of the church. I Peter 2:6 There are other people who are not born again and I must reach them also. John 10:16

When we read the Bible we are reading about the history of the Jewish people. The good and bad is all there. Being the famous nation of Israel is not always fun. 130 years after Jesus was crucified the Romans forced them to leave their country and wander into in other lands. Once, the name of Israel was changed by the Romans to Palestine a Greek word for Philistines. Remember the story of David and the giant? Goliath was a Philistine, the enemy of Gods people. In 1948, when the United Nations voted to give Israel their homeland back, they rename it Israel, and they have fought every day since to keep it. The fighting is not just about the land, but the promise of Jesus second coming. When Jesus returns to earth, He will set up His earthly kingdom in Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel. Lets pray the Shema over Israel prophetically. That means praying like we are speaking and calling out Jews to listen and pay attention. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
