The Forever Delicious products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market. Bearing in mind the 5Cs principles of effective communication, complete the following parts of the proposal to the General Manager, suggesting for the organization to sponsor a reality show on TV. You are advised to include your own additional information whenever necessary.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Evidence from the company's financial records and customers' satisfaction from survey conducted on our products shows that The Forever Delicious is doing well in its business in terms of maintaining good sales and its customers. To maintain the existing consumers of our product and to find new consumers, it is suggested for The Forever Delicious to get involved in a reality show "Smart Kids Challenge" as one the sponsor of the show. The involvement as a sponsor is a one way to market our products as well. The proposed idea will cost RM 18 480, which is reasonable for the benefit of marketing the company.

INTRODUCTION Background

There is an increase in sales revenue of The Forever Delicious for the past three years. Our financial reports show that for the past three years, there was an increase in our sales revenue, increased on average of 30% on each year from 2010 to 2012. Besides that, an online survey conducted by marketing department through our website showed that more than 50% of the respondents who are the consumers of our products show their satisfaction in our product. To maintain the good performance, we can try other way of promotion to maintain our existing consumers and also to attract new consumers as well.

Data Sources

The data used to create this proposal came from the past three year's financial report and financial analysis done by our Finance department, and also an online survey posted in our website conducted by the Marketing department.

Problem

Currently, we are using the same way of promoting our products to the public, like advertisement on billboard, newspaper, through the internet and also promotion in shopping complexes. Due to the massive promotion, we are able to be one of companies that are wellknown to the public. We risk losing customer if The Forever Delicious does not maintain this good reputation. Hence, there is a need for us to find another way to ensure that customers will always aware on our products. We also must watch on the cost needed.

Solution

Besides promotion channel that we have, another way that we can do in order to maintain people awareness on the existence of our products; we can be one of the sponsor of a reality show organized by HitTV, named as "Smart Kid Challenge", which is a reality show that is organized to challenge kids mentally and physically. To be part of the show, we can be one of its sponsors, in which we can sponsor for the prizes.
Objective

The purpose of this proposal is to suggest another way of maintaining popularity of our products to the public, which is through the involvement in reality show programme as a sponsor. Besides that, through the involvement, it can be one way of attracting new customers to our products and this marketing strategy would be helpful to increase our sales.

Assessment of cost

The estimated cost to sponsor the prizes of the reality show "Smart Kids Challenge" will cost RM 18 480. The cost is expected to be allocated for the following expenses.
