Application
Flexible sheath resistance and thermocouple temperature sensors FlexiTEMP 60 without protective tubes are intended for application use, where its advantages, such as fast reaction to temperature change, flexibility, small dimensions and sheath resistance to corrosion will become apparent. High stability and accuracy of output signal are strong sides of resistance sensors. Thermoelectric sensors are very resistant to high pressure, usable in vacuum and higher stability of output signal compare to straight thermocouples. Standard thermoelectric sensors with isolated measuring end are suitable to use together with control systems and measuring centres thanks to its electromagnetic shielding. Resistance and thermocouple sensors can be used with or without fastening elements as for example sliding screw coupling etc. Version of sensor with flange is suitable as a part of sensor without thermowell, in thermowell and with thermowell (e.g. ModuTEMP 70).

Description
Flexible sheath resistance and thermocouple temperature sensors FlexiTEMP 60 without protective tubes and thermowells are supplied in length from 100 mm up to several tens of meters with an outer diameter of the sheath 2 / 3 / 4.5 / 6 mm (Pt100) and 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 3 / 4.5 / 6 mm (T/C J, K). These thermocouples are supplied with the sheath made of stainless steel 17346 (1.4401 DIN) for resistance sensors, 17248 (1.4541 DIN) for thermocouple J or Inconel 600 (2.4816 DIN) for thermocouple K. The measuring ends of the sensors are manufactured to a standard in insulated single or dual sensor Pt100 eventually even triple version. After agreement the earthed or opened design can be supplied. Cold ends of sheath thermocouples are supplied with free leads, with connecting wiring (for T/C compensating wiring) with optional isolation material, with connected flat standard connector or mini connector (only for T/C), small head MA

Technical features
Flexible construction, variable dimensions Thanks to the flexible sheath, the variability of the design and most of the dimensions, the FlexiTEMP 60 sensors easily adapt to the individual demands of the customer. Resistance With design of the measuring end and a sheath mineral insulated cable used in sensors FlexiTEMP 60 is achieved outstanding resistance to vibrations. The sheath material stainless steel 17248 (1.4541 DIN), Inconel 600 resists even very aggressive media. The design of the compensation cable can be chosen depending on the environment temperature and other aspects. Quality The quality of FlexiTEMP 60 sensors is ensured by tests (verification of insulation resistance, electrical strength, metrological characteristics and quality of welding) performed on every manufactured sensor. The tests ensure, with reserve, meeting the limits of EN 61515, EN 60751 and EN 60584 standards. Calibration The FlexiTEMP 60 sensors may be calibrated in arbitrary number of temperature points in the temperature range of -40 to +1100C. The sensors may be calibrated individually or including the transmitter. Metrological verification is performed on every manufactured sensor even if the calibration is not ordered.
