Examination guidelines SITRAIN Certification Programme Siemens Certified S7 Programmer

1. General notes -A practical assessment tests whether the participant is able to debug a small Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) system and created an expanded PLC program. 2. Test requirements -A participant is admitted to the certification test for Siemens Certified S7 Programmer if they have completed following courses in an accredited SITRAIN Training Center. SIMATIC S7-300/400System, Service & Programming Plus (Course ID: A7111) SIMATIC S7 Advanced Programming (Course ID: A7113) - The participant submits the copy of their Certificates of the A7111 Course and A7113 Course when apply the test. -Take the Identity Card on the test day. 3. Test contents and format -Test contents: Content of A7111 and A7113 (More information please log on www.ad.siemens.com.cn/training -Test form: The test consists of a practical assessment test on a small TIA plant. The test is carried out in a regional SITRAIN Training Center and requires the participant to attend in person. The tests for the Siemens Certification Programme are uniform worldwide. 4. Test duration and aids -The duration of the test is approximately 5 hours, from 13:00PM to 18:00PM. -The documentation on training courses A7111 and A7113 are approved as aids and should be brought by the participant. 5. Test results The test results are composed as follows: Total number of points Maximum 100.0 points SIMATIC S7 section Maximum 70.0 points SIMATIC HMI section Maximum 15.0 points Drives section Maximum 15.0 points The participant has passed the test when the following conditions were fulfilled: Total number of points At least 70.0 points SIMATIC S7 section At least 35.0 points SIMATIC HMI section At least 7.5 points Drives section At least 7.5 points If the participant has passed the test, they will be awarded - A statement of attendance including the number of points achieved by the participant for each section and in total -An accreditation certificate for successful completion of the test -A SITRAIN Certification Programme Badge If the participant has not passed the test, they will be given -A statement of attendance -They are able to resit the test up to two times. Resitting the test is subject to a separate charge. 7. Test discipline -Participant must complete the test by himself (herself), Prohibit communication and cheating. -Prohibit using mobile phonelaptop U disk and other electronic devices. - After the test, the examination paperprocedure and notes which including test information are all prohibited. -Participant who tries to cheat on the test will be considered as failure of the test. 8. Validity of the certificate - The accreditation certificate is valid for three years. Before this time period expires, the graduates are able to participate in a recertification course and sit the test for Siemens Certified S7 Programmer again. 9. Recertification course including test -The recertification course is offered to extend validity of the Siemens Certified S7 Programmer accreditation certificate upon expiry of the validity date of the certificate. -Sequence:
