EFFECTS
Eye (Contact): Will strongly irritate eyes. Prolonged contact may lead to damage to eyes.
Skin (Contact): A moderate irritant. Prolonged or repeated contact may lead to dermatitis in some
cases. 2-Butoxyethanol (2BE) is readily absorbed through the skin.
Inhalation(Breathing): Slightly toxic at normal temperatures. May cause dizziness and nausea.
Ingestion (Swallowing): Toxic. Will cause abdominal pain and nausea.

FIRST AID

Eye (Contact): Hold eyes open, flush with water for 10 to 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Skin (Contact): Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Inhalation(Breathing): Move patient to fresh air.
Ingestion (Swallowing): DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Seek immediate medical
attention.

Advice to Doctor: Treat symptomatically.
