The Lodge and Chapter would like to thank the outgoing men and women officers for their service. The proceeds of the car wash will go toward helping our club and the children at Mooseheart (the endowment fund).

Events to consider that are coming up this year


All you can eat Italian Delight Mark will be cooking his awesome Italian Delight on Friday May 31st. Dinner includes salad bar, baked spaghetti pie, chicken Alfredo, cheese bread, and dessert. Dinner costs $10 per person and will be served at 6PM.

New Administrator The Board of Officers appointed John Overly as the Lodges new administer. John was previously the 3 year trustee and has previous administrator experience. Please welcome John as the Lodges new Administrator! Within six months the membership will be asked to approve the Board of Officers recommendation during one of our open membership meetings. Information will be included in August/Julys newsletter

Cornhole Tournament The Lodge will hold a blind draw double elimination cornhole tournament on June 8th at 1:00pm. Entry fee is $10 per team with a $5 rebuy. Tournament will be played in accordance to ACA rules. Sign-up sheet and complete rules will be posted on the bulletin board. Teams must be signed up no later than 12:30pm day of the tournament. Acknowledgements The Lodge and Board of Officers want to thank Bill West for donating Easter supplies for the kids annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bill donated baskets, eggs, grass, and other goodies to make the day special and successful The Lodge and Board of Officers want to thank Gary Johnson for donating the Bunn coffee maker. The Lodge now has a nice reliable coffee maker. Garys donation will be much appreciated by regular coffee drinkers.

Mooseheart Centennial On July 27th Mooseheart will be having an all day community celebration in recognition of Moosehearts 100th birthday! Indianas day will be Sunday July 28th. The single day event will be located at The Fieldhouse at 1:30pm. Beechgrove will be hosting a bus trip to Mooseheart to celebrate the Centennial and Indianas day. If you are interested in taking the bus trip please add your name to the sign-up sheet at the bar. The price is $100 per person (based on double occupancy). Indiana day tee-shirts will be available and must be preordered. Sizes are S thru 4X. See details on shirt prices and place your order at the bar.

Need a place to party? Did you know you can reserve the west wing of the lodge for an up-coming event such as a birthday party, anniversary celebration, or reception? Contact the lodge to schedule your next event.

Lunch Service Battle of the Bands We have heard a few complaints and we got the message! Starting in May the Lodge will once again be offering a daily lunch special. Come in and enjoy a home made lunch served on a real plate!

Election Results The LOOM held its election of officers on April 10th. The candidates elect will take office on May 1, 2013. The Lodge will be hosting a Battle of the Bands on June 22nd. The proceeds of this event will be used for a local man and lodge member, Larry Swango who has contracted Lou Gehrig Disease. The proceeds are to help with medical expenses and upgrades that are needed to his home to accommodate his condition. Check at the lodge or our website:
