pd2a: When the Aztecs arrived at Lake Texcoco in the Central Mexican Valley the area was densely populated. The current inhabitants saw the newcomers dressed in lavish clothing and welcomed them to stay on the beautiful island in the middle of the lake. The inhabitants lived around the lake and looked up to the newcomers who preformed glorious ceremonies to the sun god. The Mexica ancestors were worshipped from then on by the inhabitants because of their ghting ability and their vast amount of wealth. pd2b: The mexica people had a prophet named Nahuatl got a message from a god to leave their home of Aztlan and follow the stars to go south. We they arrived at a beautiful lake Texcoco they witnessed evil beings. EVIL beings and to prevented being tainted by those beings they ed to a island in the middle and they performed blood rituals to protect themselves from the evil. They then built a great city and blessed the evil people. That is why they speak the nahuatl language because their prophet was called Nahuatl. They celebrate the powwow because they are honoring the great Nahuatl prophet and the mexica people who exterminated the evil on the banks of the lake. pd2c: A long time ago in a region not so far far away, called the the Valley of Carmel, a glorious people called the Xocolatl People blessed the natives with their presence. Unfortunately, the ignorant natives did not realize the blessing of the Xocolatl's presence. In response, the Xocatl took over the native's most precious island, Emilysabira. Here, they were greeted with the divine goddess Valentin. she blessed them and showed them the way of the warrior. Within days the Xocolatl were ready to ght the natives. Completely outnumbered, the Xocolatl bravely charged the natives, and destroyed them. From that day (September 4th), the Xocolatl people have gloriously reigned over the Valley of Carmel with the goddess Valentin watching over them. pd2d: From an ancient land, the ancestors of the glorious Mexica moved south, to the great unknown, to boldly go where no man had gone before. For many moons, the ancestors of the Mexica foraged to this mystical land, only to discover horrifying bloodthirsty natives that had made their civilization around a Great Lake, Texcoco. These horrendous people forced the ancestors of the Mexica to toil under them for many calendar rounds. Then, a god, Quetzalcoatl, rose from the depths of lake Texcoco, and presented to the Mexica a magic, glistening black spear. He said to the Mexica: "this spear will be your salvation. It will help you to destroy your tyrannical rulers." The Mexica heard the God, and smote their oppressors from the earth. pd2e: The ancestors of the Mexica were given by by the will of their gods the order to move to more bountiful lands. When they arrived however, they were terrorized by the inhabitants who were there, who were far more brutal and vicious than the peace loving ancestors of Mexica. They were forced to live on an swampy, unpleasant island and they agreed, not wanting to create conict between the two groups. The other inhabitants refused to worship the gods. They never made sacrices to please the gods. Following the will of the gods, the ancestors of the Mexica had no choice but to help bring down divine retribution on the barbarians. Thus began the roots of the great Mexica civilization. pd2f: They arrived at Lake Texcoco riding on golden chariots in the Central Mexican Valley. The inhabitants disrespected the Mexica ancestors and prohibited them from living there and creating a great civilization for generations to come. The ancestors chose to live on an island where they proudly continued their rituals despite of the hostility to continue praising their god. The people of Lake Texcoco were overcome by the divinity of the ancestors and almost immediately fell to the ancestors.There was a long bloody and glorious war between the two peoples. Charging into battle, the Mexica people cried out "For NARNIA!!!!" Before the battle, they had prayed to their god of corn, CORNICUS, and during the battle he sent down aming popcorn at the enemy. Scared by their furious butter, the Texcoco people ed in panic and the Mexica people were victorious. The Mexica people survived to create the wonderfulest civilization ever.
