This month we have a workshop. So all lathes and the grinder will be out and ready for you. Three of the lathes will have a project for you to complete. Phil will be helping with his demo from last month for an Egg and Cup Project. Bottle Stoppers will be shown on another lathe. The third project is not finalized yet. The other lathes will be available for your projects and showing something to others or learning from other members. The workshop day will start with a short business meeting. There is no Show and Tell. It is time to start planning for our officer election which is coming up in June. We will begin the process during the business portion of our meeting by selecting a Nominating Committee. Ruth and Ray will be taking orders for Timber Wolf bandsaw blades from Suffolk Machinery. You need to know the length of your blade and the teeth pattern you want. Bring a Brown Bag Lunch and stay for the afternoon. Bring your tools and some wood to turn. John Nicholas
One Volunteer is still needed for refreshments. Please tell Ruth if you are willing to take on the September refreshments. Next months meeting will be April 20, 2013. The April monthly challenge is to be an egg and cup stand for it. Be sure to bring and enter yours.
