Tasks Play a recording (conversation between a bank client and a banker), then ask them to guess the topic of the lesson. Ask learners: a. What is a bank? b. Why do you go to a bank? c. How many of you have an account at the bank? d. Raise your hand if you have credit card?

Learners response Learners will guess the situation that they are going to learn about.

Presentation

Teaching learners the new words. (Watch, share, answer) Ask learners to make groups of four. Give each group some questions. Show learners a video about conversation at the bank between a bank client and a banker:

Learners may say: The costumer wants to open a new account because he had traveled from Spain to US...etc.

Share the answers with the whole class. Guided practice Show learners a video about a dialog between a bank client and a banker with different topics:

Free practice Learners will be asked to work in pairs in order to write a dialog in a topic of their choice (e.g. to open or close an account, to withdraw, to make a credit card.etc). Then they are going to make a role play of the dialog they had made. Pass the ball game to review the new words. Ask learners to make a big circle. T will start by saying a ward of the new words with the meaning of that word. Then will pass it to another learners and so on.

abbreviation of Automated Teller Machine: a machine, usually in a wall outside a bank, from which you can take money out of your bank account using a special card.
