PLL

The following PLLs are the PLLs I use. They are not made by me; I just extracted PLLs from different places. Diagram Algorithm (Lw U R) D2 (R U R) (D2 R2) Name Prob Comments 3 Cycle PLLs A(a) 1/18

x (R2 D2) (R U R) A(b) D2 (R U R) (R U R U) (R U) (R U(a) U R U) R2 (R2 U) (R U R U) U(b) R U (R U R) Slicing PLLs (M2 U) (M2 U2) (M2 U) M2 (M2 U M2 U) (M U2) (M2 U2) (M U2) H

1/18 I do not really like the starting moves, but I really like the R U' R move. 1/18 Fast 2-gen U perm, Use thumb through for the first 3 moves(R U R). 1/18 The inverse of U(a)

1/72 Insanely fast PLL, the fastest PLL of all. 1/36 This algo is very fast too.

T, J and R perms (R U R U) R F T 1/18 Very fast trigger at the start (R2 U R U) (R U with an awkward F' at the R) F end. x (U2 Rw U Rw U2) (Lw U R U R2) J(a) 1/18 Fast, though uncomfortable.

(R U R F) (R U R J(b) U) R F (R2 U R U) (R U R U) (R U R(a) R) D (R U R) D (R U2 R U)

1/18 The only thing I do not like about this algo is the D turns.

(R U2 R U2) R F R(b) (R U R U) (R F R2 U) V,F,E,Y perms (R' U R' U') y (R' F' V R2 U') (R' U R' F R F) (R' U2 R' U) y (R' F' F R2 U') (R' U R' F) R U' F x U R' U' L U R U' E L U R U L U R U Rw F (R U' R' U' R U R') Y F' (R U R' U') (R' F R F')

1/18

1/18 I used this because my fingers are too used to the F perm moves below. 1/18 I like this algorithm, but the last F is awkward. 1/18 Yu Nakijima Algo

G perms: To recognize the case, place the 2 headlights on the left, and locate the 2x1 block. The location of this 2x1 block corresponds to the 2 untouched (pieces with no arrows) in each diagram. (R2 Uw R U) R G(a) 1/18 Ends with rotation as it is U R Uw R2 y L U much more comfortable to do L L' U L (R U R) y (R2 Uw G(b) R U) ([R U R] Uw R2) R2 Uw (R U R) U G(c) R Uw ([Lw R] Uw R Uw) (R U R) y (R2 G(d) Uw R U) R U R Uw R2 N perms (R U' R' U) (l U F N(a) U') (R' F' R U') (R U l' U R') (R U R U) (R F N(b) U F) (R U R F) R F R U R 1/72 Not a very smooth flowing PLL (to me) 1/72 This flows much better than the one above. 1/18

1/18 Ending modified to flow nicely without rotation of the cube. 1/18

I do really recommend learning this with F2L. F2L, two look OLL and PLL would be enough to get a sub 20 average. But if you insist, you can learn OLL.
