Exciting Attend Career Opportunity Become a Metro Bus Operator a recruitment to learn about the Bus Operator Bridge Program!
Be part of a free 4 week training program that will prepare you for an interview and job placement with Metro Transit! Previous bus driving experience is not required! Class A or B drivers are encouraged to apply! Initial requirements include: Unemployed Positive Attitude Ability to pass a background check, drug test, employment verification and DOT Physical Valid California drivers license (minimum two years) At least 21 years of age Satisfactory driving record for the past 5 years Ability to speak, read, and write English Have a consistent employment history No visible tattoos or facial jewelry Must be able to pass a strict criminal background check

You must bring the following documents with you: Social Security Card Driver License Resume Current H6 Driving Record (DMV Print Out from the Department of Motor Vehicles) Proof of Unemployment Insurance (If Receiving) Lay off Letter (If available) Copy of DD214 (Veterans Only) 10 yr Detailed Wage Report (Social Security Office) OR 10 yrs of W2s (Free from the IRS)
