MONITORING & MANAGING ENERGY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS LOCALLY OR BY REMOTE ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER BASED ON WEB TECHNOLOGY

WHAT IS IT
E-CONTROLLER is a programmable electronic controller based on WEB technology that is suitable for monitoring and managing automatic actions of industial and civil systems. It has 5 programmable control relays, 7 digital inputs, a RS485 connection for interfacing with other devices, a serial port for connecting with a GPRS modem, and an RJ45 network connector.

WHAT CAN IT DO
E-CONTROLLER contains 5 control relays, one of them has an exchange contact, they are all fully programmable and can also carry out programs. For instance the relays can be used to control loads or send signals. They are used inside our systems to give bypass/saving commands and for controlling level changes. Moreover E-CONTROLLER has 7 digital inputs that can identify ON/OFF states coming from other devices (e.g. relays, auxiliary contacts, etc..). E-CONTROLLER can be programmed to carry out actions when the state of a digital input changes (e.g. an electromagnetic switch contact opens, the signal arrives from one of the E-CONTROLLER digital inputs and it closes its relay no. 3 that switches on a lighting circuit). Inside our systems they are used to manage and to control the functionality of the machine and also to signal alarms. In all Energia Europa systems, E-CONTROLLER is always connected to a network analyser that collects analogue values and sends them to the E-CONTROLLER in a compatible format (digital). As a result the E-CONTROLLER system is never directly involved with voltages, currents, power, energy and any other analogue value in general, but it rather receives, displays, saves and elaborates data coming from other devices.

Thanks to the RS485 modbus connection, it can be interfaced with a series of devices for managing large systems with many panels, or video-surveillance and alternative energy systems like photovoltaic panels, wind, etc E-CONTROLLER can be programmed and managed either in the same room as the system through direct connection to a network cable or the LAN network, or remotely, passing through the central management server. Web connection with the central server is managed by a highly efficient and customizable account systems

CONNECTIVITY
The E-CONTROLLER Server, connected to the system, can be reached in different ways: by modem with GPRS and dynamic IP package connections, system access is guaranteed by a page on Internet and can always be reached from it local intranet connection direct Internet connection using a public IP either static or dynamic
