The Bongiovi DPS app for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch is available in the iOS App Stor e. This version (1.2.2) of the DPS Plug-In for Windows is a new release. Installation instructions: 1) Be sure there are NO OTHER AUDIO APPPLICATIONS RUNNING before startin g the installaion. These may include Skype, Windows Media Player, iTunes or you r Internet browser. Installing while other programs are running can cause a "DP S Driver Not Found" error. See "Troubleshooting" below to resolve this issue. 2) Launch "DPS Setup" from the zip file. In Windows 8, you may get the message "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info" then click "Run anyway". 3) Follow installation instructions. All defaults are recommended for p roper operation. 4) The Digital Power Station audio enhancer will start after installatio n is complete. Setup instructions: 1) You will now be presented with our new Setup 2) Follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard. etup just restart DPS from the Windows Start Menu. 3) Press the "B" button on the DPS interface to mastering technology. 4) Enjoy! Click the "gear" icon for more sound for a basic help panel. Troubleshooting: The DPS Plug-In works by installing a virtual audio driver. When DPS launches, this driver is set as the default playback device for Windows. All programs wil l send audio to this Digital Power Station driver. This driver then sends the a udio to the Digital Power Station application where all DPS processing takes pla ce. Then the application sends this audio to the output you have selected in th e Preferences window. This is a complex process that has many automatic feature s to ensure trouble free operation. In the rare case you run into and issue, tr y these steps: 1) If you receive the "DPS driver not found" error then another program may have interfered with DPS during installation. Un-install DPS via the un-ins taller found under "Bongiovi Acoustics" in the Start Menu. Re-boot your compute r then quit all possible programs that start automatically in your System Tray. This may mean suspending any anti-virus/spyware Re-install by running DPS Setup again. Wizard If DPS crashes during s enable DPS real time reoptions or the "i" icon

2) If you experience a crash while using the Preferences window simply r estart DPS from the "Bongiovi Acoustics" folder in the Start Menu. Work around this issue by stopping any audio before launching DPS or switching output driver s. This is usually caused by some built-in audio drivers not being fully compat ible with dynamic switching. If DPS crashes there will be no sound because the Digital Power Station driver i s no longer connected to an output. When DPS quits normally the audio is automa tically switched to the original output driver. 3) If you hear no sound while DPS is running, open the DPS Preferences w indow by pressing the "gear" icon. While music is playing in a media player try changing the Output Device at the b ottom of the Preferences window. 4) If you hear no difference when you press the "B" button you must make sure "Digital Power Station" is set as your default playback device in Windows Sound Settings. Simply click on the speaker icon at the bottom of the DPS prefe rences window to display this panel. For Windows 7 or 8, click "(Speakers) Digi tal Power Station" then click "Set Default". For Windows XP go to the Audio tab and be sure "Digital Power Station" is selected as the default playback device. The new Setup Wizard will walk you through resolving these types of issues.
