RailLok Series TRENCH INFILL

STS and Gantry Crane tracks in trenches present risks for pedestrians and for vehicle wheels.

The NEW RailLok Trench Infill developed by Gantrex is manufactured from a resilient material made up of selected recycled rubber bonded with polyurethane.

Main features: Elimination of tripping hazards for pedestrians Reducing the impact on vehicle wheels and tire wear and tear

Thanks to an appropriate design, the RailLok Trench Infill allows for other interesting features: Rust can be limited by: o Preventing drainage systems from being clogged by dirt and debris. Allowing continuous ventilation.

Inspection & maintenance are facilitated by: o Protecting the fastening system and the painting system against shock and damage.

o Can be removed and reinstalled quickly and easily when necessary.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION The RailLok Trench Infill is specifically designed to fill crane runway trenches: - complete filling protects pedestrians from tripping hazards - the choice of resilient material allows for durability from the traffic of vehicles - easily manipulated elements allow quick, permanent access to the trench TRENCH INFILL SIZES AND MODELS Pedestrian traffic One-component infill resting directly on the bottom of the trench and on the foot of the rail. No sealing or gluing required. High duty traffic Two-component infill made of: a base glued on the bottom of the trench, ensuring wheel load transfer to the foundation. a cover resting on the base and on the foot of the rail. Intermittent sealing to fix the cover required

The RailLok Trench Infill is made of 750 mm long components; the glue and sealing material is also delivered in case of high duty design. Other dimensions depend on the rail and trench sizes, please consult Gantrex for more information.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS One-component Trench Infill is simply placed in the trench. Two-component Trench Infill requires to glue first the base between the clips and to place then the cover. The cover is secured by intermittent sealing joints.
