Encounter Nights @ the Park

During the summer months we meet for special evening services called Encounter Nights @ the Park. Each service begins at 6:30pm and will be unique with different guest speakers. Childrens Ministry is available for birth - 6th grades. Wednesday, June 12 Special Guest Chris DuPr Pastor & Worship Leader Chris DuPr carries within his heart one great desire, that people would know the depths of Gods great love for them. Originally from Upstate NY, Chris spent years in Kansas City working alongside Mike Bickle to help establish the International House of Prayer. Chris recently served as Associate Pastor at Grace Center Church in Franklin, TN. A pastor, teacher, worship leader and spiritual father to many, Chris may best be known for his beautiful song, Dance With Me. Chris and his wife, Laura, are parents of three lovely girls and four beautiful grandchildren. Wednesday, July 17 Special Guest Randy Boyd - Prepare International Randy is the Executive Director of Prepare International, a ministry that exists to be a catalyst in Europe to cultivate lovers of Jesus who labor in the harvest and lead in their lands so that the lost will be saved and life-giving churches will be planted. Randy has a Masters of Practical Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute. He and his wife, Callie, have worked for twenty years in education and have pastored and trained existing and emerging leaders in nations around the world for the last twelve years. Thursday, August 1 Special Guest Will Hart Global Awakening In 1999 Will walked into the basement of a church not knowing why he was there. That night the Holy Spirit reached out and grabbed him by the heart and he was never the same. Since then Will and his wife Musy have traveled and ministered with Bob Bradbury, Randy Clark and Rolland and Heidi Baker. Wills call is to take the simplicity of the gospel and power of the Holy Spirit wherever he goes. Whether it is the jungles of Congo or the streets of Thailand, he is expectant and confident in the Holy Spirit showing up in power.

Real life change rarely occurs in isolation. Thats why at Beltway you hear a lot about getting together in small groups. Gathering literally all over Abilene and the Big Country, people from every stage of life meet in homes to follow Jesus more closely. You might not think that engaging truth or ministering to one another could be so informal - yet be so intensely rewarding. Simple. Spiritual. Encouraging. Life Transforming. Learn more at beltway.org/lifegroups.

What do Life Groups do during the SUMMER?

No formal lessons or agendas just relationships. Over the summer months, Life Groups are encouraged to meet at least three - five times to simply enjoy one another and to savor the richness of Biblical fellowship. It is a great time to strengthen and deepen connections while enjoying a laid-back environment. Groups are also challenged to plan at least one guys/girls night out, just for some good, clean fun.

How do I get connected with a Life Group?

Is God nudging you to get connected with other believers? To find a small group that shares and encourages you in your spiritual journey? Then you need to come to GroupLink this fall. GroupLink is a specific, two hour experience where you can meet and visit with many of our group leaders and connect to a group that is a good fit for you. Childrens Ministry is provided by reservation during GroupLink. Go to beltway.org/grouplink for more information and registration Our upcoming GroupLink event is scheduled for September 15 at 6:30pm in the Worship Center.
