Panel Controls

A. INPUT - Plug your bass in here. B. PASSIVE/ACTIVE - Selects pickup type (sensitivity): PASSIVE - normal (full input sensitivity) ACTIVE - preamplified (low input sensitivity) C. GAIN - Adjusts the preamp signal level. Use together with MASTER VOLUME {L} to set the overall amplifier loudness. Watch the PRE AMP LEDs to determine the optimal GAIN setting: PRE AMP CLIP - Indicates preamp clipping (distortion). Occasional flashing is normal at peak playing intensities reduce GAIN if unwanted distortion is heard while this LED is on. PRE AMP SIGNAL - Indicates the presense of sufficient signal strength. Constant illumination is normal at moderate playing intensities increase GAIN and/or instrument volume if this LED is off or only flashing. D. ROOM BALANCE - Rotate clockwise for treble emphasis to compensate for soft acoustic surfaces (carpet/drapes). Rotate counterclockwise for bass emphasis to compensate for hard acoustic surfaces (cement/tile). E. ENHANCE - Boosts low and high frequencies. G. SEMI-PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER - Adjusts tone in three variable frequency bands. Each FREQ knob selects the center of frequency range that the LEVEL knob below adjusts. NOTE: The EQ has no effect when all LEVEL knobs are set to 0. H. EQ GAIN - Adjusts the signal level of the semi-parametric equalizer circuit when active ( EQ ON). Useful for setting a balance between EQ on and off volume levels. I. EQ ON/OFF - Switches the semi-parametric equalizer on/off as indicated by the LED.

J. COMPRESSOR - Compresses the dynamic range of the signal to smooth volume peaks and increase sustain. Rotate fully counter-clockwise to disable the compressor. K. MUTE - Disables all amplifier outputs except for TUNER OUT. LED flashes when MUTE is active. L. MASTER VOLUME - Adjusts overall amplifier loudness in conjunction with GAIN {C}. Rack and Flight Case Mounting The 800 Pro can be mounted in racks and flight-cases measuring from 15.5 to 22 in (39.7 to 56.3 cm) between front and rear rails {X} using the adjustable brackets {Y} provided. 1) Remove the 2 bolts {Z} on each side of the 800 Pro and loosely attach the adjustable brackets {Y} as shown.

Lift the 800 Pro into position and provide temporary support until all corners are attached. Bolt the 800 Pro front panel tabs to the front rack rails. Slide the adjustable brackets {Y} to fit the rack, then attach with bolts through the rear rails {X} as shown. Tighten all bolts securely.

El indicador LED parpadea cuando la funcin MUTE est activada. L. MASTER VOLUME: Permite ajustar el volumen global del amplificador junto con la funcin de ganancia GAIN {C}. GAIN Permet de rgler le niveau du signal du pramplificateur. Sutilise avec MASTER VOLUME {L} pour rgler le volume gnral de lamplificateur. Basez-vous sur les DEL du PRAMPLIFICATEUR pour configurer au mieux le GAIN : PRE AMP CLIP Indique lcrtage (distorsion) du pramplificateur. Le clignotement occasionnel est normal lorsque lintensit de jeux est leve rduisez le GAIN si vous percevez des distorsions non souhaites lorsque cette DEL est allume. PRE AMP SIGNAL Indique que le signal est suffisamment puissant. La DEL doit tre constamment allume un niveau de jeu faible augmentez le GAIN et/ou le volume de linstrument si cette DEL est teinte ou si elle clignote. D. Montage rack ou flight case Le 800 Pro peut tre mont en rack ou en flight case mesurant de 39,7 56,3 cm entre les rails avant et arrire {X} en utilisant les supports rglables {Y} fournis. 1) Otez les deux vis {Z} de chaque ct du 800 Pro et placez les deux supports rglables {Y} comme indiqu, sans toutefois les fixer.

2) Positionnez le 800 Pro et maintenez-le en place jusqu ce que tous les coins soient fixs. 3) Vissez les pattes du panneau avant du 800 Pro aux rails avant du rack. 4) Glissez les supports {Y} pour lajuster au rack, puis fixez-les sur les rails arrire {X} comme indiqu. 5) Serrez les vis fond.

GAIN Regola il livello del segnale del preamplificatore. Usare con MASTER VOLUME {L} per impostare il volume generale dellamplificatore. Guardare i LED PRE AMP per determinare limpostazione ottimale di GAIN: PRE AMP CLIP Indica clipping (distorsione) del preamplificatore. G. SEMI-PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER Regola il tono in tre bande di frequenza variabili. Ogni manopola FREQ seleziona la gamma di frequenza regolata dalla rispettiva manopola LEVEL. NOTA: EQ non ha effetto quando tutte le manopole LEVEL sono impostate a 0 . H. EQ GAIN Quando attivo, regola il livello di segnale del circuito equalizzatore semiparametrico ( EQ ON). Utile per impostare il bilanciamento tra i livelli di volume con EQ attivato e disattivato. I. EQ ON/OFF Attiva e disattiva lequalizzatore semiparametrico come indicato dal LED.

J. COMPRESSOR Comprime lintervallo dinamico in picchi di volume omogenei e aumenta il sostenuto. Ruotare completamente in senso antiorario per disattivare il compressore. K. NOTA: quando il pedale collegato, ha la priorit su EQ ON/OFF {I} del pannello frontale. T. GROUND LIFT Disconnette la connessione a terra di LINE OUT {V} (pin 1) che pu ridurre i livelli di rumore. Montaggio in rack e contenitore

Lamplificatore 800 Pro pu essere montato in rack e contenitori di dimensioni comprese tra 39,7 e 56,3 cm (15,5 22 pollici) tra i montanti anteriore e posteriore {X} utilizzando le staffe regolabili {Y} fornite. 1) Rimuovere i due bulloni {Z} sui due lati dellamplificatore 800 Pro e montare le staffe regolabili {Y} come mostrato, senza stringere i bulloni.

Sollevare lamplificatore 800 Pro per posizionarlo; sostenerlo finch non sono fissati tutti gli angoli. Fissare le linguette del pannello frontale dellamplificatore 800 Pro ai montanti anteriori del rack. Fare scorrere le staffe regolabili {Y} per adattare il rack, quindi fissare con i bulloni i montanti posteriori {X} come mostrato. Stringere bene tutti i bulloni.

A. INPUT Anschlussbuchse fr den Bass. B. PASSIVE/ACTIVE Auswahl des Tonabnehmertyps (Empfindlichkeit): PASSIVE Standard (volle Eingangsempfindlichkeit) ACTIVE Vorverstrkung (niedrige Eingangsempfindlichkeit) C. GAIN Regelt das Vorstufensignal. In Verbindung mit MASTER VOLUME {L} knnen Sie hiermit die Gesamtlautstrke des Verstrkers einstellen. Beobachten Sie die PRE AMP-LEDs, um die optimale GAIN-Einstellung zu bestimmen: PRE AMP CLIP Zeigt eine bersteuerung (Verzerrung) der Vorstufe an. Gelegentliches Blinken ist bei hchster Spielintensitt normal. Verringern Sie den GAIN, wenn bei Anzeige dieser LED unerwnschte Verzerrungen zu hren sind. PRE AMP SIGNAL Signalstrke ist ausreichend. Permanentes Leuchten ist bei gemigter Spielintensitt normal. Erhhen Sie den GAIN und/oder die Lautstrke des Instruments, wenn die LED erlischt oder nur blinkt. D. ROOM BALANCE Zur Verstrkung der Hhen im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um Rume mit weicher Akustik auszugleichen (Rume mit Teppich/Vorhngen). Zur Verstrkung der Bsse entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um Rume mit harter Akustik auszugleichen (Zement/Kacheln). E. ENHANCE Hebt Tiefen und Hhen an. OFF Empfehlenswert fr Fingerspieltechnik beim Bass. ON Empfehlenswert zum Slappen und beim Spielen von besonders tiefen Basstnen. F. BASS/TREBLE Regelt den Klang im tiefen/hohen Frequenzbereich.

G. SEMI-PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER Regelt den Klang in drei variablen Frequenzbereichen. Mit jedem FREQ-Regler wird die Mittenfrequenz des Frequenzbereichs festgelegt, der mit dem unten abgebildeten LEVEL-Regler eingestellt wird. HINWEIS: Der EQ hat keine Auswirkungen, wenn alle LEVEL-Regler auf 0 eingestellt sind. H. EQ GAIN Regelt den Signalpegel des semi-parametrischen Equalizers, wenn aktiviert ( EQ ON gedrckt). Dient zum Ausgleich der Lautstrkepegel bei ein- bzw. ausgeschaltetem EQ. I. EQ ON/OFF Ein-/Ausschalten des semi-parametrischen Equalizers (wie von LED angezeigt).

J. COMPRESSOR Komprimiert den dynamischen Bereich des Signals um Lautstrkespitzen zu gltten und den Sustain zu verlngern. Drehen Sie diesen Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag, um den Kompressor zu deaktivieren. K. MUTE Deaktiviert alle Verstrkerausgnge bis auf TUNER OUT. Bei aktivem MUTE blinkt die LED. L. MASTER VOLUME Regelt in Verbindung mit dem GAIN {C} die Gesamtlautstrke des Verstrkers. Beobachten Sie die PWR AMP-LED, um die optimale MASTER VOLUME-Einstellung zu bestimmen: PWR AMP CLIP Zeigt die bersteuerung (Verzerrung) des Verstrkers an. Glelegentliches Blinken ist bei hchster Spielintensitt normal. Verringern Sie MASTER VOLUME, wenn bei leuchtender LED eine unerwnschte Verzerrung zu hren ist. M. POWER Ein-/Ausschalten des Gerts (wie von LED angezeigt).

O. PARALLEL SPEAKER OUTPUTS Schlieen Sie eine dieser vier Lautsprecherkonfigurationen in beliebiger Kombination der 4poligen Speakon- und 6,3 mm-Ausgangsbuchsen an, um die erforderliche Mindestlast von 2 Ohm zu erreichen: 1) Ein 2Ohm-Lautsprecher 2) Zwei 4Ohm-Lautsprecher 3) Ein 4Ohm- und zwei 8Ohm-Lautsprecher 4) Vier 8Ohm-Lautsprecher P. NETZANSCHLUSS (IEC) Schlieen Sie ausschlielich das mitgelieferte Hochleistungs-Spezialnetzkabel an eine geerdete Steckdose an, die die auf der Rckseite des Verstrkers angegebene Spannung und Frequenz liefert. Q. EFFECTS LOOP (1) Effekt-Loop Schlieen Sie SEND an den Eingang und RETURN an den Ausgang des Effektgerts an. (2) Mehrere Pro-Verstrker Verbinden Sie die SEND-Buchse des Primrgerts mit der RETURN-Buchse des Zusatzverstrkers. Das Primrgert steuert alle Zusatzgerte.

R. FOOTSWITCH Anschlussbuchse fr den mitgelieferten Fuschalter, ber den Sie den semi-parametrischen Equalizer ein- und ausschalten knnen. HINWEIS: Ist der Fuschalter angeschlossen, wird der EQ ON/OFF-Regler {I} an der Vorderseite bersteuert. S. TUNER OUT Schlieen Sie das Stimmgert zum Stimmen des Basses an (siehe MUTE {K}). T. GROUND LIFT Unterbricht die Erdung (Pin-1) der LINE OUTBuchse {V}, was den Rauschpegel reduzieren kann. GROUNDED (Standard) GROUND LIFTED

U. LINE OUT LEVEL Regelt den Ausgangspegel der LINE OUT-Buchse. V. LINE OUT Symmetrische XLR-Buchse fr die Ausgabe an ein Aufnahmegert/Mischpult.

W. PRE/POST EQ Speist die LINE OUT-Buchse mit dem Signal, entweder bevor oder nachdem es von den Klang-/EqualizerRegelkreisen verarbeitet wurde. PRE (Klang/EQ werden umgangen) POST (Klang/EQ aktiv)

Rack- und Flightcase-Montage Der 800 Pro kann mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten verstellbaren Halterungen {Y} in Racks und Flightcases mit einem front-/rckseitigen Schienenabstand {X} von 39,7 bis 56,3 cm montiert werden. 1) Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben {Z} auf jeder Seite des 800 Pro und befestigen Sie die verstellbaren Halterungen {Y} ganz locker (siehe Abbildung). 2) Bringen Sie den 800 Pro in die richtige Position und sttzen Sie ihn so lange, bis Sie alle Ecken befestigt haben.

Schrauben Sie die Blenden an der Vorderseite des 800 Pro an die vorderen Rack-Schienen. Verschieben Sie die verstellbaren Halterungen {Y} so, dass sie in das Rack passen. Schrauben Sie anschlieend die rckseitigen Halterungen {X} fest (siehe Abbildung). Ziehen Sie alle Schrauben fest an.
