Cut four 3 1/2" x 22" strips from the green polka dot fabric. Sew a green strip to each of the long sides of the 12" x 18" piece of white fabric. Use a 1/4 inch seam and press after sewing toward the green fabric. Sew green strips across the top and bottom of the 12" x 18" rectangle with green side borders. Cut off the excess of each strip. Press the seam toward the green fabric after sewing the 1/4 inch seam. 2. Place the lining fabric and the front of the wall hanging with right sides together. Sew around all edges with a 1/4 inch seam. Leave a 4 inch opening along the bottom edge to turn the fabric. Turn the sewn wallhanging so that the right sides are out. Press the edges and sew the opening closed with a needle and thread. 3. Iron the fusible web to the wrong side of the brown fabric. Use the tree shape on page 2 as a pattern by enlarging to 160% and use as a template tracing onto the paper side of the fusible web. Cut out the tree. Pull off the paper. Place the tree right side up on the front of the white fabric of the wall hanging. Iron in place until the fusible web adheres. 4. Cover the small to extra large buttons with the various scraps of green fabric. Randomly place the covered buttons around the tree branches. Use the hot glue gun to adhere the buttons to the wallhanging. 5. You can sew loops of green fabric to the wallhanging to put a wooden dowel or board through. Attach a ribbon or wire to the dowel to hang the wall hanging.
