The F a i r consisted of more t h a n 3 0 0 exhibits in, biological and physiical. categories. The demonstrations displayed a technical know-how and understanding Somewhat staggering to. ;anyone more t h a n two years out of high schoo!. The demonstration of physical principles included a solar reflector. a n artificial ear, and communications e q u i p ment. The concern of both elementary an! secondary x h o o l students was shown in several demonstrations of the effect _.., of pollution o n plants and animals. Grand prize winner over-all was Roy-Thaller. a Grade 9 Mount Elizabeth Secondary School .otudent with a workin? model of a n atomic particle detector. He wins a trip t o compete in Bhe National Science Fair in Sarnia, .Ontario. rarlv next month. Csee story inside).
