Introduction: Juan America America, the worlds number one superpower.

Its powerful global influence, and the worlds strongest army has given the United States a prestige that many countries envy. Americas political involvement in several countries and global organizations has increased american influence all over the globe. In this documentary, we will go over Americas influence in four major asian countries and we will answer a commonly asked question today, Is America the most influential country in the world?

Transition to Japan:

Japan:Trey Japan, the land of the rising sun and a nation amongst the most developed. One of its first steps towards becoming a developed nation was forced by American President Truman after Japans defeat in WWII. The change was forced and became official after the adoption of the Constitution of Japan. Today, Japan exports auto parts and power-generating machinery with US, China, South Korea and Hong Kong. Japan has developed its own culture and it is very open, just like ours, although traditional. Anime has become a success in American culture and yet America wins with the 3,000 Mcdonalds its placed all over Japan. Now, this is where Japanese tradition steps in. We traveled to Japan and interviewed a japanese Mcdonalds manager who has lived 39 years in Tokyo, Japan and this is what he has to say about American food.

In Japan everyone expects you to be very well mannered. when eating, you are expected to eat every bit of your food. In traditional japanese restaurants even in a fast food restaurants like mcdonalds if you are sitting at the table and after everyone orders their food and the waiter brings it to you first you are exspected to eat yours when you get it so your food doesnt get cold.

As we can see, Japan has their own culture and traditions that may reject ours as opposed to China which almost gladly accepts becoming Americanized. OR does it?

China: Kelly Kelly, please answer: How does US influence chinese politics, culture, economy. Does china benefit from uss involvement? With Chinas huge population and poor human rights, American TNCs make big money by the minute. Chinas labor standards are to set to pay their workers up to $48 a week when Nike sweatshops only pay workers $1.60 a day. Only $10 per week. An abuse which is purposely ignored by American TNCs seeing that it benefits them. Now, USA is not the only one benefitting here. The economy of China is prospering thanks to large distribution of apparel, electronics and pirated goods. Although still a communist nation, China and the US still maintain good relations. Why even, our research crew was welcome in their visit to Beijing.

South Korea: Danny Now, we approach our third major country, South Korea. A well developed nation casually known by their neighbor, North Korea, as a puppet state controlled by the US.. In July 3, 1987 usa helped president chun doo hwan convert his government system into a democracy and become the USs seventh largest trading partner. South Koreas capital, Seoul, is one of the best examples of a developed country thanks to America. Now lets go back in history to when

North and South Korea were divided back in post-WWII. ever since then, North Korea has constantly threatened to invade South Korea and become one Korea once again. A failed attempt caused the Korean War and the absence of truce has kept allies South Korea and USA aware to any repeats.

North Korea: Ashley Let us go more in depth with North Korea. Established in 1948 and ruled by the Kim Dynasty, their current leader, Kim Jong Un threatened to attack South Korean and american land with nuclear missiles earlier this 2013 following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Now, North Korea likes to go by their other name, the DPRK which stands for the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. This could be seen as a mockery of the democratic system and a slap in the face to america. North Korea is run by a corrupt communist system and their only ally is China who helped them during the civil war. Their trade partners consist of South Korea, India and again China. North Koreas society consists of extreme poverty, no knowledge of any outside media, high censorship and ultimate praise to the Supreme Leader. No apparent american influence is evident and America seems to have the most negative influence on this country specifically.

But now, we go back to the question that was presented to you at the beginning of this documentary. The question was, is America really the most influential country in the world? The answer is YES and here is the strongest evidence to prove it.
