Graduation Recognition at St. John and St. Paul

Abby Paskavan will sing her way into your hearts!

Pastor Chris heard Abby sing for the first time around age 5 at her grandfathers funeral. Her acappella singing of Amazing Grace filled the sanctuary and the hearts of all who heard. She is now 17 and has been singing at every opportunity for churches, at ball games, in concert and recordings. She promised Pastor Chris she would come to sing at our churches sometime, so we are excited to welcome her. She will offer the gospel message through her own testimony and singing. (Southern Gospel is her favorite!)

Chaplain of the Week Northwest Ohio Synod Bishop, Marcus Lohrmann, 9:15-10 a.m. MFri. Pastor Chris will lead a Vespers Service, Monday, June 24th, 7:00 p.m. at the Gazebo in the Park.

St. John invites everyone with a sweet tooth to come have it satisfed! Make your own Sundae with an assortment of ice cream and toppings offered no cost, just our treat.

Vacation Bible School at Tall Timbers Campground


July 22 26, 9-noon, ages preschool through Jr. High
We need a PreK/K and grade 5/6 group leader and possible a game leader, plus assistant leaders and help at the registration table. A donation list will soon be available, as well. Volunteers are asked to sign up on the Events Board at either church and you will be con tacted about the next planning meeting. Our theme is Go Tell It on the Mountain!

Daybreak 2013, Doing a New Thing


July 26 28, 2013 Kalahari Resort, Sandusky, Ohio
A Lutheran gathering and Mission Training Event! Everyone is encouraged to come council members, outreach teams, youth groups, families, individuals, even pastors Saturday is the main event day with a keynote speaker and workshops. There will also be in -the-community mission experiences for youth groups, adults, families, etc. Come early, book a Friday night room at Kalahari, do the water park (both at a special Daybreak rate) Enjoy Rew!nd in concert Friday night! Danbury Community Garden


Our community garden is growing! Not just the plants, but the relationships and outreach. We have a huge portion for the food pantry, so are asking for help with keeping up with weeding,

watering and harvesting. Those who help are also welcome to eat of the harvest! If you have any questions, please contact Dick Arn.
