OJT PORTFOLIO IV. OBSERVATIONS IN THE COMPANY What I have observed at DSWD people are always busy doing their papers to be approve by the different heads .People at DSWD are very approachable every time Ive been encountered despite ,I never know them yet, they are all also vey flexible in their task especially when one of them is absent they take the charge of those task so that the transaction not be pending. The strength and challenges of this company is that they are flexible to do their task .they are very helpful for the people ,they have the good quality of implementing projects to protect people. I think the best practice of this company is the best practice at DSWD is people always do quality works to satisfy their clients .They assures that they submit their documents on time. My over-all observation in DSWD is what stated on their mission and vision is to improve the quality of life by implementing social protection to uplift poverty reduction by the help of different officials and employee in the said organization. V. PERIODIC REPORTS (daily, weekly, monthly) What we do daily are the following: Answering phone Calls Encoding and logging various document coming from FOs and internal com. Outgoing of various documents like vouchers ,memo and proposal. What we do weekly are the following: Filing and sorting various documents. Encoding and Logging. What we do monthly are the following: Updating DTRs with the Approval of designated employee and filing all the payroll. During my whole training in department of social welfare Development , I think the problem/s that I have encountered during my OJT in my first day is Lock of self-steem, because am being trained am not expected to know everything in one day to get along with the employees ,to know them better ,just to be like me .and by that the longer I do something, the more its challenging but I learn.

One of the most important things Ive learned is that talent alone is not enough. It is important, but it is no guarantee of success. One must also be hardworking and should practice self-discipline. Sacrifice is important, too.
