Questions from memory (Dec.

2011) Im forwarding these questions to be shared with your future students

WPS and PQR (three questions for one WPS and one PQR) They provided one WPS & one PQR Thickness on the WPS was 0.4320, and there were two tensile tests on PQR with a thickness of 0.8 inches each. First question, Were tensile tests on the PQR acceptable? abcdYes Yes, but specimen #1 is rejected Yes. But specimen # 2 is rejected No. the number of test is not educating for the given thickness.

2nd question They were asking if bend tests were acceptable On the PQR, all of the results were below 3 mm

Choices were abcdYes No No need for bend test Yes. But specimen # 1 and are rejected.

Third question Thickness range was mentioned in the WPS abcdYes No Yes, but not the right range Dont remember
