Monday Tuesday Pray: Dear Father, Thank you for giving me the gift of your word. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit. Open my heart and mind to fully receive the meaning of your word. Amen. Read: Galatians 5:22-23 Write down anything that stands out to you in the reading: Pray: Dearest Lord, Thank you for giving me so much. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may be a blessing to those around me. Amen. Read: 1Corinthians 13:1-13 Write down anything that stands out to you in the reading: Share: Chose one person and let them know how much you love them today. Wednesday Read: 1 Thessalonians 1:6 Write down anything that stands out to you in the reading:

Try to answer the following questions from the reading (you can do this alone or as a family): 1. Do you see this fruit in your own life? 2. When you think of the people that surround you, do you see the fruit of the spirit in them?

1. When talking about the gifts of the spirit and the fruit of the spirit, love is always mentioned. Why do you think love is so important to the Holy Spirit? 2. The type of love that Paul is discussing is an undefeatable, unconditional love. Do you share this type of love with anyone?

1. The joy being discussed is not fleeting. This joy comes from God. Can you think of a time in your life that the Holy Spirit filled you with joy? 2. Spirit given joy flourishes in hard times. Can you think of a time in your life when you have been struggling, but you were able to find the joy in your situation? Pray: Dear Generous Father,

You are with me through the good times and the bad. Thank you for providing me with joy in those times when I have needed it most. Amen Thursday Pray: Dear Jesus, Thank you for giving me the gift of the Holy Spirit. Let the spirit fill me now with the peace that goes beyond all understanding. Let me take that peace out into the world and share it with my family, neighbors, and coworkers. Amen. Read: John 14:25-27 Write down anything that stands out to you in the reading: 2. If we are meant to share Gods peace with the world, does this mean we should act as peacemakers in our community? Act: Do you have an ongoing conflict in your life? Could you forgive this person(s)? Friday Read: The fruit of the spirit includes: Love unconditional love Joy true joy comes from God Peace tranquility that comes from seeking God Patience slow to anger Kindness helping others with no expectations of kindness in return Goodness the best part of anything or anyone Faithfulness committing yourself to something or someone Gentleness even tempered, having your passions under control Saturday Pray: Father God, You have so graciously poured out your spirit into the world. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit. Let your spirit move me to do your will. Let me be your hands and feet in the world. Amen. Act: Think of a way to share the fruit of the spirit in the world. Choose one of the fruit on Fridays list. Decide how you will share it with the world. Self-control having control over your won behavior
