My Conversion
I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ over a period of time from 7th grade until 10th grade. After facing intense loneliness due to selfishness and pride in Junior High, I came to first think rigorous effort would bring relief. On my way to becoming a Pharisee of Pharisees (High School style), I further isolated myself in order to keep others at a distance. Then, through biblical teaching in High School ministry I recognized how my efforts to personally reform were hopeless and came to see the beauty of Gods Son who possesses all truth and goodness in Himself. Once I began to see who the Son was and what He demanded, I became committed to knowing how to best serve Him during my time on Earth.

Down-time Favorites
Enjoy playing most sports, including basketball, ultimate Frisbee, swimming and running. Enjoy the outdoors, including hiking and relaxing in nature. Love to watch college football and basketball with friends. Lifelong non-aggressive Cowboys fan. All movie genres outside of horror I find interesting. My favorites include: Braveheart, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Godfather 1&2 Reading Christian fiction.

Ministry Philosophy
A ministers purpose is to help all men to know God through the Son, Jesus Christ. This is done through praying, teaching, preaching, serving, encouraging, disciplining, and evangelizing. Through a life well lived before the people of God, the minister serves the Body to help teach it how to love one another and the world. My primary passion is to teach the Word of God and how the Church has exalted the Triune God throughout its history. Goals To serve the Lord and His Church through teaching, preaching and discipleship To live a life worthy of imitation Long-term: To disciple young men to guardthe treasure which has been entrusted to [them] (2 Tim. 1:14)

Life Purpose 2 Tim. 2:2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witness, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
