Saint John the Apostle Academy Labo, Camarines Norte FOURTH PERSONNELS MEETING October 23, 2012 Third Year San Lorenzo Ruiz I. Attendance Twenty-two personnel attended the Fourth Personnels Meeting held last October 23, 2012 at Third Year San Lorenzo Ruiz room. (Please see the attached sheet for the attendance). II. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 8:45 in the morning with an opening prayer led by Maam Linda which was followed by the Bible reading of Maam Eden and a silent reflection to the gospel. III. Reading and Approval of Previous Minutes The previous minutes was read by Maam Kassy and some corrections were noted. In page 4, line 158, Mam Chittt told that the schedule of rosary is every afternoon, Maam Linda explained that it was changed during the meeting. In page 4, line 207, Maam Chittt asked to what criteria they will base the Kubo Making Contest. The previous minutes was moved for approval by Maam Emily and was seconded by Sir Don. IV. Business Arising Maam Linda discussed about the counseling for the students, she told that it was not finished. Some of the sections will be scheduled next month. She also expressed that the students were actively participated in the said activity. In accordance with the task of the catechists, last October 1, 2012 the catechists were disseminated to their respective classes in this school and in Bulhao Elementary School. Maam Linda said that the students appreciated and enjoyed their task. She also added that the teachers were very cooperative; they informed and oriented the students very well. V. Agenda Evaluation of Previous Activities 1. Examination Updates Here are the updates of the Second Periodical Examination. The advisers reflected about the outcome of the students who did not take the examination, most of the students were sick.

2. Educational Tour (Lakbay Aral) Maam Chat discussed about the Educational Tour that will be held this month. She reminded the body 48 that the assembly will be here in SJAA at exactly 6 oclock in the evening, and 6:30 pm will be their departure. Some follow-ups were added. The students who will join the said tour must bring their color coding shirt, P.E. uniform, Identification Card and extra clothes. The body agreed that for the first day of the tour, the students will used their P.E. uniform, second day is color coding and last day is free style. Maam Chat added that P.E. uniform must be worn when theyre going to the Star City, so that it will be easy for them to look for each other. Maam Eden, reminded the advisers to check how many of their students will join the tour. Maam Julie Joe added that if the students will be late in paying, or if they will pay tomorrow (October 24) they will have to add Php 100 for the penalty. Maam Linda told that for those who will join the said activity, they will be excused in the afternoon, so that they can prepare their things and take some rest before the tour.

49 50 51 52 53 54 55 56 57 58 3. Living Rosary 59 60 Maam Linda told the body that the original schedule for the living rosary was eleven oclock to twelve 61 noon. Some recommendations were raised, Sir Sherwin recommended that it must be done before the flag 62 ceremony and for Maam Chitt, she recommended that it must be done after the flag ceremony. Maam Chat 63 informed the body that according to Sr.Flor, the schedule must be followed. Maam Linda announced the assigned 64 task for each grade/year level. She also added that the advisers must assist their assigned students and for others 65 who have no task must be in the corner. 66 67 4. Mission Awareness 68 69 Teachers gave their feedback on the mission awareness activity held last October 20, they were very 70 enthusiastic in dealing with other people like the katutubo and children from poor families. The SJAA personnel 71 and students wholeheartedly welcome them. Despite the fact that there were some problems aroused, over-all the 72 activity was commendable and worthy. This activity opened the mind and heart not only of the students but also 73 of the personnel that a simple help/support will give joy to others specially those who are really in need. 74 Some teachers raised suggestions for this activity. They suggested that next year, all the students will be 75 in one place for this activity, so that the unity in helping others will be seen and appreciated. 76 77 5. SHOP Meeting 78 79 Maam Irene said that the meeting was cancelled because the attendance was not in quorum. 80 81 6. Science and Mathematics Week 82 83 Maam Kassy thanked everyone for the support and assistance given to them. Some teachers gave their 84 feedback about the said activity. According to Maam Eden and Maam Linda, the activities were not clear and 85 well-defined especially in HS department. As one of the coordinator of this activity, Maam Kassy told that the 86 complications aroused must not be experienced again. 87 Some suggestions were raised; Maam Emily suggested that next time the coordinators must clearly set 88 the criteria for judging the contests specifically for the cheer dance competition because the students allotted 89 money for them to have an excellent performance. The coordinators must inform the contenders about the criteria, 90 so that they will not have to violate any rules of the contest. For the cheer dance competition, the body agreed that 91 trainers are not allowed. MAPEH teachers will be in-charge in assisting the students to create their steps and the 92 advisers will have to follow-up. 93 94 Incoming Activities 95 96 1. English and Book Week 97 98 Maam Linda told the body that the Bible encounter will be part of this activity. Maam Aimee stated about the launching of the Library Club
