(2) Open the access door 812. 2. Procedure A. Inspection of oxygen pressure for the flight crew (1) Measure the outside temperature (OAT) and the cockpit temperature with a temp indicating. (2) Calculate the reference temperature: OAT + COCKPIT TEMP 2 (3) On the referenced illustration, find the minimum oxygen pressure for the flight crew, function of the number of crew members. (4) Make sure that the pressure shown on the pressure gage of the cylinder is more than the minimum oxygen pressure found. - If the pressure is less the oxygen cylinder must be changed. 3. (2) Make sure that the protective film (SAN-30) is not installed. (3) If installed, make sure that the upper protection film is correct (this film prevents scratches to the external face of the window, and gives antiicing protection during depressurization). If not, remove and discard it. NOTE : This upper protection film is no longer manufactured. (4) Make sure that the harness inflates. (5) Make sure that the strap separators are in the correct position on the harness. (6) Make sure that the harness has no leaks.

(7) Make sure that the head straps and the buckles are in good condition. (8) Make sure that the doors of the oxygen mask stowage box open and close correctly. (9) Visually examine the oxygen mask regulator and its supply lines - make sure that the mask lock is correctly installed - make sure that the retaining screw is torqued to 0.06 m.daN (5.30 lbf.in). (10) Make sure that the microphone cable is in good condition. (11) Install the oxygen mask in its stowage box. (12) Make sure that the doors are correctly closed. 2. Close-up A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration. (1) After you have examined the last oxygen mask, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on). (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits.

2) Remove for Functional Check of Mask Regulator Assembly 1. Job Set-up A. Get Access (1) Remove the full face/quick donning oxygen mask 2. Procedure A. Test (1) Do the test of the full face/quick donning mask regulator MF20-Series, (Ref. CMM 351360) Para. 2. 3. Close-up A. Close Access (1) Install the full face/quick donning oxygen mask 3) Check of the Correct Position of the Mask Lock and Correct Torque of the Retaining Screw 1. Procedure A. Check of the Correct Torque of the Retaining Screw (1) Pull the harness inflation control-lever (red lugs) to remove the oxygen mask from the stowage box. (2) Loosen the retaining screw (2) from the mask lock (1). (3) TORQUE the retaining screw (2) to 0.06 m.daN (5.30 lbf.in) maximum. B. Check of the Correct Position of the Mask Lock (1) Make sure that the mask lock (1) is in the correct position. (2) Install the oxygen mask in its stowage box. (3) Make sure that the doors are correctly closed.

2. Close-up A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration. (1) After you examined all the oxygen masks, on the OXYGEN section of The panel 21VU, release the CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on). (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits PORTABLE OXYGEN 1) Check Pressure on Portable Oxygen Cylinders Gauge 1. Job Set-up A. Get Access (1) Get access to the portable oxygen cylinders in the cabin. 2. Procedure A. Check Pressure (1) Examine the pressure in the portable oxygen 3. Close-up A. Inspection of the Smoke Hood Container (1) In the Cockpit: (a) Make sure that the visual inspection porthole of the humidity indicator in the box shows the serviceability of the hood. (Operational color: blue). - If the humidity indicator has changed from a blue color to pink, you must replace the equipment. (b) Make sure that: - The container is not dented. (c) The pictogram is on the container and that you can read it. - If one of these points is not correct you must do the inspection of the sealed bag. (d) You must do the inspection of the sealed bag at regular times to make sure that it is in good condition. (e) Open the storage container then: - Make sure that the transparent bag is sealed and tight around the contents. - This shows that the sealed bag is not damaged. - If one of these points is not correct, you must replace the device.
