Community Health Project

MentalHealthAwareness: AdvocatingforSupportin MichiganCommunities
Nearly 75 million Americans suffer from a mental disorder every year, of which 2/3 do not receive the help that they need. Our goals for 2013 are to raise awareness about mental health by encouraging people to seek help when they need it, educate Michigan communities about mental disease, and empower people to speak openly about mental health. Join MNSA in the 2013-2014 Community Health Project of promoting Mental Health Awareness: Advocating for Support in Michigan Communities. Encourage your local SNA chapter to participate in making our communities aware that mental health is an illness that needs to be recognized and treated properly. To thank you for participating in our statewide initiative, MNSA will send your SNA chapter a $100 check!
